I was woken up by the sound of loud thunder at 5 this morning. And that was just before the rain poured down. And it was heavy. I couldn't get back to sleep.
I decided to get up early and set off to work as I was worried that there might be flash flooding and the subsequent traffic jam.
A quick breakfast since it was still awfully early
And then, a bit of newsLuckily by the time I got into the car, the rain had stopped. It was nice and sunny when I finished my ward rounds and headed for breakfast. Looked like it would be above day today ....
