It seems that this tend to happen in front of me when I am queuing up for a parking space. Who says women can't park eh?

Reading through, I wonder if I heard the whole story here......

KUALA LUMPUR: What was to have been a quiet night out among three friends at a restaurant in a shopping centre here last Sunday night turned out to be a traumatic experience.

Katrina Danielle, 25, an intern with an international organisation here, was having dinner with a couple from Australia at a restaurant at a shopping complex in Bangsar when five men who were drinking at the next table attacked and robbed them.

The attackers also hit their male friend at the back of his head with a steel chair, splashing beer at the girls before running off with their handbags.

“It is a miracle that my friend Paul was not killed. The leg of the chair was bent from the impact.

“It was distressing that the incident took place without any quick action or intervention by the restaurant staff and the other diners in the crowded restaurant,” Katrina said.

“I am angry that no one from the shopping complex or restaurant came to our aid.

“They were slow to act,” said Katrina, who made a report and gave a statement at the Brickfields police station the following day.
