School Begun

The havoc from this morning had subsided. Registration went smoothly, things were all organised, the boys met up with their buddies after the school holidays were over.

Look at the size of the bagsThe usual crying were there but mainly at the kindie - one of our friends just sent their daughter there this morning and has yet to let go. I stood chatting with some of the fathers while the children it themselves settle down.

Irfan settling into his classWeather was not as nice as yesterday. It was threatening to rain all morning. And the mood was made worse after learning about one of my patients not doing well at the hospital. My sifu was covering for me and I was sure I couldn't contribute much more.

I still got plenty of things to do and organise. It would have to start after breakfast...

More Treasures

Another stop at China Treasures for lunch. The boys wanted the buttered prawns again, whomever enjoyed some din sum.

The menu had been modified for the Chinese New Year. As a result, few of the din sum which we liked were not available. The items on the din sum menu - only 14 - were given a special twist.

For example, Idlan's egg tarts were topped with a layer of bird's nest. Luckily it didn't alter the taste too much and Idlan was convinced that it was some sort of jelly. No damage done.

We opted against din sum as we planned to do just that when the whole family, including my in-laws around. Maybe we'd do it some time next week.

A sign that we were here too often was when they gave us some water chestnut for dessert for us to try on the house.... Was that a hint of sort?

Blue Sky

It was one of those rare mornings, which combined great sunny weather and me being on leave. After sitting out my errands all in the morning, I should have myself a free afternoon.

Maybe I should take my camera out and venture around Bukit Bintang or Pasar Seni. Hopefully it was not too sunny....

Full Morning

It was back to business thisbmorning after the short break to Melaka. Today would be the boys' last day at home. School starts tomorrow for them.

This morning, Anita and I did what other parents did, sorting out the fees, books and school uniforms. Most of them were already ready apart from a few of the books. Some of the books would only come in later in the week. Next it was the stationary.

We managed to get most of the stuff's sorted out by lunchtime. That included a quick trip to KLCC for the school bags. Luckily Anita had a driver who took us around the place. Things were done much quicker that way. Should be lunch next....

Back to Express Sushi

The last time I went to Express Sushi must have been about a year ago. Busy work schedule and the location of Great Eastern Mall combined to keep it at that.

So, I returned for dinner there last night and it looked like the place had changed a bit. The menu stayed the same, and so was the food quality.

Still the potato salad is the BOMB!Not much difference from before but the eating area was now more comfortable. Would still recommend the place.
