Misadventure at Marche

After Berbuka last night my boys asked for pizza. Anita had to do some shopping, so the decision was simple. We headed to The Curve, and for food it was Marche.

We were there a few weeks ago at the beginning of Ramadhan, and it was business as usual there. But last night it was different. All buffet and no ala carte. And the selection was rather limited. With the RM 68 to be paid for adults, it wasn't cheap. It cost RM for each of my boys, plus tax on top. And on the whole, it wasn't worth it. I had a small steak and salads, plus dessert. The drinks had to be paid separately though.

That's one big mug of tea .....Followed by a nice strollI wouldn't recommend going for the buffet if you were only there for the food. You wouldn't get your money's worth.

I saw this on the way to the Celcom branch yesterday lunch time, passing by the small alley around Telawi in Bangsar Baru.

Better Late than Never

I must admit that I sacked a bit this year. Usually I got my Raya card organised well ahead of time, but this year with the combination of work, and moving house, things got delayed. I managed only to get down to business last night during the rare nights which I could get my act together and get things going.

So, Anita would have to honour of getting the cards posted. I got the stamps already for them, so they just need delivering. Raya was definitely round the corner now....

New Juicy Jelly Beans

So, the wait had finally passed. Both my Nexus 4 and 7 got the Android 4.3 update pushed through. Any difference? None noticeable thus far.

The battery life on the 4 was still abysmal. The 7 just appeared the same. I must say that the updates were only a couple of days old, so I would reserve my final judgement until in had time to play around with the units.

I failed to understand what the fuss was all about really. But I would be really interested with the next instalment though.
