MUAR: Politicians should not be too quick to berate teachers for taking action against problem students.
Deputy Education Minister Datuk Dr Wee Ka Siong said teachers should not allow themselves be led by politicians, and that meetings with any affected parties should take place in schools.
“I have heard about a teacher in Muar who was called by an opposition assemblyman, and asked to apologise to the parents whose children were punished in class.
Is the Minister for or against teachers using a bit of 'old school love' to instill discipline on the children or another lip service? I'm confused!
