Here We Go

It’s finally here. Idlan was finally sitting for the #UPSR. Towards the end, it was Anita who looked more tense than Idlan, but that would be only natural. This would be the first major exam for any of her children, and of course who would be worried.

Idlan took some time before sleeping last night. He was full of energy and when he woke up this morning, he was rearing to go. I was sure that he would be asleep come this afternoon after the paper was done.

It would be Bahasa Malaysia today, and he learned all the formats as required. Some aspects of the test were far too technical for me, and truth be told, I was never that good at the languages.

Tomorrow would be English - another couple of papers - before going into his favourite subjects of Math and Sciences on the final couple of days of the exams.

Haircut for the examFriday? He would be sitting for an aptitude test at his next school, so the exam would only be done for him on Friday afternoon.

He looked ready when he left the door this morning. I hope he would be as cheerful when he returned later this afternoon.

Light Traffic

The school was off today and there was hardly any traffic driving in. I ended up at the Doctor's Lounge just after 8, browsing the news channel. Too early for breakfast.

Since I don't have a clinic this morning, I might as well run some errands before putting on the finishing touches on the lecture in was due to give this weekend.

Not a bad idea.

A Happy End to Monday

Looking forward for a busy week coming. On call, followed by a couple of lectures before the end of the week. Since I was last on call almost 3 weeks back, the ward had been light and I had a couple of weekends to enjoys my photography.

Great to see that the weather turned gloomy this afternoon as not to pine for another outing with my camera ....

Looking forward to a quiet night preparing my talks ....

Bad Start

So, who spoilt my Monday morning? I bet it was Irfan during the weekend as he was at the back of the car yesterday. Only realised it when I was about to start the rounds this morning.

Luckily I had a free morning. Time to get the new coat out!

Holiday Monday

I really could do with more of this. Not having to wake up super early in Monday, managing an extra couple of hours of sleep after Subuh and light traffic driving for the ward round.

Unfortunately it happened quite rare. I went out of the apartment after 10 and was already back to the apartment, mocha in hand well before noon. Easy going.

Now, what should I do for the rest of the day. Could do with a haircut I guessed.
