Bagpipes at The Curve

The last time I checked, bagpipes were a Scottish tradition. So, I was rather confused when last weekend, while the place was abuzz with St Patrick's Day - just another excuse for people getting drunk - The Curve had a group of bagpipers playing at the main walkway. Quite interesting.

They appeared to be a school ban and they were still playing when we left just before 10 pm last Friday evening. The fun thing was, try were playing contemporary music, from Lady Gaga, to Coldplay. Great stuff!

Quieter Than I Imagined

After iftar today, we ventured out for a quick drive down to The Curve hoping to catch a late bite. It turned out that by 10pm, the whole place was practically deserted. Only the bars were opened. Most of the other outlets were already winding down their businesses.

We managed to pack home some sandwiches from O'briens, as well as some chips from McDonald's to keep the boys happy. Maybe there would be a lot more buzz around there during weekends.
