All Packed

So, I managed to reach home early after leaving the hospital just after 5. Arranged the discharges, sorted out the paperwork and handed over the patients. It was earlier than expected, giving me some time to chill, have dinner before leaving for KL Sentral after Maghrib.

The packing was sorted out since last night. I just needed to get my electronics and double check that I have all the documents in order. I will be on the plane for the next 24 hours. Getting really tired I was sure by the time I reached the Atlanta, I would be really tired. If I was jet lagged and unable to sleep, I would go straight to shopping .....

Let the Packing Commence!

Finally I was in the mood. I had been busy sorting out my calls, as well as arranging my patients due for chemotherapy, that I felt that packing then was somehow, inappropriate. Now that those were more or less sorted, it was time for me to get things organised. And as usual, I started with the planning.

Now that the plans were on paper, the next would be to calculate the cost ……. FIUH!

Suffice to say that I would be broke ……

Packing next ...

Finally done with the clinic and looking forward for the weekend trip. Flight would be early tomorrow morning, leaving the house by 7.30. Or at least that was the plan.

Last year, when the iPad 2 was announced, I was on my way to Myanmar, and learning the fact of the device on the TV screen at KL Sentral. It looked like it was going to be the same again. All the details on iPad 3 or HD or whatever they were going to call it at KL Sentral again.

So, I would be off home soon. Anita had already started with the packing. My job would be to get all the electronics and cameras sorted out as they would be travelling by road. Hmmm! It looks gloomy outside though ....

Almost There

We spent all yesterday evening after work to shop rather than pack and now we were behind schedule. I have clinic this morning, so after sorting out the vouchers and bookings, as well as the photography gear, I was out of the house. Puan Anita would be doing the packing, with the help of the boys of course!

I should be able to sort things out by noon, then we would be off for the night at Philea, in Melaka. We decided to break the journey rather than head straight to Singapore as we may only reach there in the middle of the night. We could do with a night chilling out in Melaka as well!

I have heard good things about Philea, so looking forward to a bit of hospitality there as well. And, the place is damn expensive!

Sunday Afternoon

A spare couple of hours on a Sunday afternoon. The children were doing their homework as tomorrow would be a school day after a week away for the Chinese New Year break. There won't be much school in the next couple of weeks however.

Next Wednesday would be a day off for Hari Wilayah. Then there would be another long weekend, with Thaipusam and Maulud Rasul. The boys would be absent the an extra day as well since we would be traveling to Singapore for the long weekend. Our first real holiday traveling abroad, and the first time their passports would be stamped!

Puan Anita as usual had been sorting out the packing all weekend. As for me, I am trying to sort out a quick way to blog on the fly and I was really impressed with the new version of Posterous. I had been using them since 2008, and it had been kinda lame for a while. The new revamp at the end of 2011 really did wonder for the product, and better still, they were still free of charge and now the API is much more durable.
