Quick Break

Irfan woke up this morning with a fever. So he missed out on lunch with his cousins at The Curve and also the evening outing for froyo.

He was not bothered though as he wanted to be absent from school tomorrow. Compared to normal school, Sri Utama had another week to go before end of year break. And on the last day, it would be the prize-giving, for which I had cancelled my clinic for. Both insisted that I be around, since I missed last year's event.

Idlan on the other hand was keen to go since most of his friends would still be coming. No lessons though. He had some music practice as well.

And then, another exam for Al Manar from Thursday. So, the school year had yet to end for the two of them.

Quick Stop

Yup! The KLCC outing was nice and the boys were filled up to the brim by the time we were done with dinner. They enjoyed it that much. We then walked around Kinokuniya, browsing the magazines, while the boys getting more books. I also stopped at the Machines to check out the MacBook Pro with retina display. Amazing machine, but it would set me back around 7K for the basic unit. Amazing spec though, and I am sure it is a fast machine. It would not replace my Mac Air though.

We were done before 10, and driving back, we stopped over for some frozen yoghurt. Luckily the outlet was still opened as rumor has it, there had been a few robbery at the as and the shop owners there planned to close their shops early. We enjoy the yoghurt none the less.

Tutti Frutti Time

Anita had been there a couple of times before. But today was the first time I step foot into Tutti Frutti, and I must say, the frozen yoghurt tasted yummy. Combined with the easy going ambiance, bright decor and easy access to what you wanted when you were preparing your own dessert, the feeling was hard to beat. The branch I visited was right along MRR2, a left turn from my Mum's place to return to our place.

There were some tasty choices here, and my boys certainly enjoyed playing around with the toppings and preparing their own concoction. I just wished that it was not that expensive. Each tub easily cost us RM15, and the boys hardly finished half of it. I did not take any as I shared Anita's chocolate flavored yoghurt.

Definitely worth a treat, especially on a warm afternoon that we had just now. But remember, prepare to spend around RM15 per person …..
