A Quick Outing

I had a free evening after berbuka last Wednesday and Anita asked if I could drive her to KLCC since she had something to pick up there. I had not been to KLCC since the beginning of Ramadhan, so I thought why not.

It gave me the chance to have a look at the decorations as well.

Looking down from the upper floorThose aren't real fire. They were small LED bulbs underneath twirling paper leaves. Clever idea!Unfortunately you were not allowed to get near the house!And I saw plenty of durians. Maybe it was part of the theme?And some old bicycles .... supposed to make us feel like at a kampungAbout as close as we could getAgain, they had a giant erection by the fountain. This time it was a mega-huge ketupat! Creative? Not so sure about that.

At the main concourse, there was a replica of a Malay house. No activities when we were there but I noticed a stage in front of it. I was sure there would be some shows during the days and weekends. As usual, there were stalls - selling expensive clothes and cookies by the side.

Somehow it didn't feel original.... even the lantern looked like it has been used before

Nothing special. Anita got her shopping and we were off.

Slowing Down

On paper, I have a full week of clinic but looking at the list, they appeared to be quite sparse - except for the one next Monday afternoon, the last one before Raya which was full. Maybe it was time to wind down. I have done my weekly call last week and am now practically free, apart from a few scheduled chemotherapy rounds before the Raya break.

I have booked a week off, but we have yet to decide if we were going to travel to Penang or not since Idlan has got his exams coming up in September. We wanted to keep all the distractions to a minimum, and take our holidays later in the year once the exams were done.

So, I will doing all the paperworks and letters in arrears and hopefully indulge in some down time with the drone or play a session or two of video gaming. My EVE account had been dormant for a few weeks. And I have downloaded a Civilisation game a few weeks ago which I have yet to touch ….

Over by the Fountain

More Syukur Selalu - Spherical Image - RICOH THETA

The final stop for my snapping run this morning was the famous fountain in front of Pavilion. There was also decorations up at the Pavilion main entrance, mainly to celebrate Raya, theme Syukur Selalu. There was also a big drive for the new BMW X5 Hybrid going on with girls handing out leaflets at the entrance.

Otherwise, the bright sunny Sunday was capped and this certainly helped the snaps I have taken. The Theta S was certainly an adventure and I would be looking forward to do more snapping in the future ....

Since I was already around there, I might as well have a look at Starhill Gallery, across the road from Pavilion. Not much going on there, except for people having some nice lunch. A quicl snap, then I was off!
