After clinic today, we had to visit a couple of patients. Not the one in my ward, but my niece and Mum.
My niece was admitted yesterday at the Paediatric Ward at Gleneagles after been confirmed to have dengue. She looked weak but it seemed that there were no complications. Her fever had subsided. Now we were waiting for her blood counts to recover. She should be in for another couple of days at least.
We then went on to my sister's place in Kajang to visit Mum. She had a cataract repair and lens implant done earlier in the week. She was doing fine and would need another procedure on the opposite eye in the coming weeks.

I had some errand to run yesterday afternoon, changing the names to some of the utilities for the apartment. After picking up the boys from school, we went straight for lunch at KLCC.
On the way back, we stopped at Candilicious at the Ground Floor and came across this candy called Pucker Powder. Reminiscent of sago when we were small, these powdery stuff were actually full of flavours. So much so, that it stung the tongue!
I thought the boys were hooked!

The call yesterday started quiet enough but I ended up being interrupted at night multiple times. Hardly any sleep in the end, with starting my ward round at seven in the morning.
All was done in the end and straight after my clinic in Park City was done, I had to stop for lunch before the afternoon clinic. It was pleasant enough at Bangsar this noon, with nice breeze and sunny weather.
The problem would be to drag myself back to Subang for the afternoon clinic and ward round. I really need the sleep tonight ...
