Finishing the Clinic

For some reason, the clinic today went along slowly than I could remember. And only about half of the patients turned up. Maybe they were tied up with the school opening this morning.

Anyhow, it was almost midday and still a couple of results waiting to be reviewed. I still have a couple of admissions to deal with later after lunch, as well as doing the afternoon rounds. Hopefully I could leave by 3 as I had some errands still to do before I leave.

The weather outside had been really inviting. Nice and sunny. I expected it to be warm and sunny in Melaka as well.

I will be bringing my in-laws as well. They were in need of a break. Best to try to leave early before it gets dark. Driving into Melaka city center was never fun....

Dinner and Cut

After the busy last couple of weeks, I finally got to spent some quality outing time with the boys before tomorrow's travel to Melaka. So, we went to visit my Mum at Bukit Antarabangsa before having dinner and haircut at KLCC. My God, the three of us - Idlan, Irfan and I - needed it badly.

So, a nice walkabout after that before a quick visit to the hospital and then packing. The boys promised to help Anita out with that. We shall see...

Pool Party

Last Xmas, we attended a birthday party at Melawati. A nice idea since it was at a pool and Idlan especially didn't wait long to get into the pool and forget about food and his parents.

The venue was K Klub, a private club at Taman Melawati. The main attraction there was a nice big swimming pool. We were close to sending Idlan for lessons there but decided otherwise. There was also a Chinese restaurant there before, but closes a couple of years ago.

Irfan didn't go into the poolIdlan did. But I must have a word with him a bout that pink balloon!Back to the party, we arrived there right after the cake and the singing. The pool was definitely children friendly. The area where the party was held was separate from the main pool, for privacy.

We just kept ourselves occupied until it was time to go. But the pool party idea was definitely a good one.

New Year's Morning

After a good night's sleep, I was treated to nice sunny morning when I prepared to go to the hospital the morning round. Really brightened the mood.

Nice relaxing breakfast with Anita - the boys were still asleep - before having a relaxing drive to work. It barely took ten minutes from my car park to work with the traffic being so light.

But the perfection didn't last long and chaos ensue right after I started the round. Well, enough sunshine for the day.

For those having a nice easy day today, do spend time with the family. I would be doing just that this afternoon.
