Decided to plunge in and register myself a private domain name. Should be up and running by tomorrow and the site will run from www.harisrahman.com

You have to start somewhere

Hi all,

I'm due to start my sabbatical in the coming weeks, and part of the plan is to blog. A kind of journal, but about my field, Haematology and chemotherapy. Not just another journal but one that is in Malay. My supposed mother tongue. Malaysians are very good at complaining especially in blogs. This is going to be different. Might turn out to to be some sort of a wiki one day. A place for local Malaysians just been diagnosed with leukaemia and lymphoma to read up about their fears and uncertainty ..... in Malay.

Step one, get a personal website. Once it's up and running, maybe rename it into something that the patient can relate to. Something like kemoterapi.com ... kinda boring ... but as I said .... you have to start somewhere.
