No New iMac?

Did I stay late last night? Of course I did. And it wasn't much due to the football, but for the WWDC keynote. I was looking forward to an update on the iMac range but that did not materialise. Instead, we were offered the new MacBook Pro, with retina display. And the spec on that thing was spectacular. It has more firepower than your average desktop. Complete with SSD, fast processor and a couple of Thunderbolt connections. Amazing.

Even the MacBook Air got a bit of a boost, but I am still happy with my 2 year-old unit. But I must say that the MacBook Pro looked tempting. But it would cost a bomb!

I spent the drive in listening to the commentary of the keynote on podcast. An interesting listen, and insightful. I might just catch the keynote later tonight when I get home.
