Queue into Shoopen

There was a new outlet in Bukit Bintang which caused quite a stir on its opening weekend. It had been advertised for the last couple of months and it certainly worked. There was a long line of people waiting to be let in for the opening weekend sales.

The shop was located at one end of Pavilion, where there used to be an exit. That end had been closed for a while while undergoing renovations.

They sell only shoes, but the crowd was too rowdy for my liking. The price better be good looking at the amount of buzz it was creating. Anita was not that taken aback when I told her about. Maybe she was just into shoes ....

After I was done with Fahrenheit, I decided to return to my car at Pavilion and dump my stuffs. I could then take more photos inside Pavilion after that. This snap was taken while waiting for the lights to turn, right in front of the flagship Sephora store. 

As you can see, everybody was staring at me when I lifted the Theta on top of my head and clicked the shutter. They must have thought that I was from the future!

The weather was hot and I would have usually had some ice cream at the nearby vendor. Surprisingly not that many people about this afternoon despite it being a Sunday. Time to head towards Pavilion. I parked there.

Sunday Afternoon in Town

It has been a while since I had the chance to get my camera out for a free spin. It was a Sunday and frankly, I had done my chores and was looking forward to a quick lunch with Anita. I had some time after lunch for a quick walk.

After late lunch at Pavilion, I took the M-P out around Bukit Bintang. The weather was not too inviting and to be frank, it was threatening to rain all afternoon. Not exactly conducive for a photowalk, but I must not complain.

There was nothing much going on there at the moment. I guessed, with Ramadhan coming up soon, the decor would be gearing up to that. Anita did her shopping, while I just hang around for a while. I was too lazy to walk all the way to Low Yat, and soon turned back. I settled for a quiet coffee instead.
