Time to Pack

So, the three night stay was coming to an end. And the boys were unexpectedly sad. They seemed to have really enjoyed the trip. Irfan said that he would write about the holidays when he goes back to school. Nerd!

Idlan was still asleep when we took our breakfast. Anita is busy cleaning up the back of the MPV for the journey home. We plan to leave just after 11, and arrive in KL in time for late lunch. We would soon be packing for tomorrow's trip up North. We have yet to book the hotel room. But I suspect it should not be a problem.

The plan was to stay in Sungai Petani, so that we would be near my auntie there. Not to mention the plan to stuff ourselves with the gorgeous food ....

Heading To Town

I wasn't sure if it was a blessing or a pain not having cellular signal at the place we stayed. At least we had wifi. So I could still blog and keep up with twitter and Facebook, and not to mention finding out about the news.

I managed to get the odd SMS or two, but calling out or sending off SMS was still a pain. Often the message out failed. At least we would be back to civilisation tomorrow.

We were waiting for my in-laws before we head out into the town for lunch and a bit of miniature golf which the boys were keen for.

A Nice Morning

We slept well last night with the cool weather outside. However it wasn't foggy as with the last visit we had. We hang around at the TV lounge watching movie until almost 10.30, before heading back to the room. The boys then played with their game console until late before falling asleep, only to wake up close to 9 am in time for breakfast.

As we were practically the only ones at the resort, we took breakfast a out leisure before sitting at the lounge again all morning. The boys were yet to have their shower when I wrote this. The plan was to head into the town for lunch. We were craving for some rice actually. The boys wanted to have a horse ride, then play a bit of golf. Hopefully the weather would allow for that. It had been sunny all morning.

I also spent the morning exploring the house taking photos. It was so cosy, especially the surrounding area. Plenty of room to venture for walks, and just plain relaxing ....

Rainy Afternoon

It had been raining pretty much all afternoon and with the Smokehouse empty, we got the place to ourselves and the boys were having a field day. I was at the lounge enjoying the Internet - a ft one since I was the only one using it - while the boys were creating havoc by the bar.

The rain also meant that we had our afternoon tea and scones indoors rather than by the garden. With the cool mountain air and sweet smell of grass after the rain, one couldn't resist having a walk outside later.

We would be staying in for dinner tonight rather than going out. A nice chilly evening I hope.

Afternoon Drive

We ended up having lunch at Scott's restaurant. But the wait was ridiculously long. It took us an hour for our food to be ready. Luckily, the boys were chirpy and spent the whole time playing with their Nintendo. Anita was almost taking a nap at such the slow pace of the place. The weather was cool and things were easy going.

After finishing lunch, we dropped my in-laws at their room and went out for a drive. This time we stopped for miniature golf. It was situated at a new food court and appeared well maintained. We planned to have lunch there tomorrow, hoping that the crowd would be lighter compared to today.

It soon rained, and we rushed back to apartment. Now off for some scones ....
