Drizzled

How I wished I was in bed all morning rather than having to travel across town on this cool morning. It rained in the early hours and by the time I was about to leave at 7 in the morning, it really poured.

Traffic was smooth until I reached PJ. Then Federal Highway started to clog up. And it continued so until after 10 am. I could see the bad flow from the window of my clinic. And then I felt lucky that I set off really early.

I think it would start to rain again soon. Hopefully I could escape before it start to pour ...

I Got Kit Kat

Finally the download arrived. My Nexus 7 received the OTA downloads overnight and when I disconnected it from the charger, all I needed to do was to press the agree button and the update would just begin.

10 minutes later, I was up and running. Any difference? Nothing noticeable thus far except the colour of the top status bar. Not the Nexus 4 yet. And my HTC One only got 4.3 last week. It would be some time before Kit Kat arrives there.

Let's see if anything new to discover here ....

Slow Morning

Still disappointed with last night's result, I was slow getting out of bed. There was no real rush really as there was no rush for the toilet and the traffic getting to Subang was nice and flowing. I actually reached work earlier than usual, listening to podcasts as usual.

Then came the drive to Park City. Again, it was pleasant. This afternoon, I decided to head back to Subang instead of having lunch at Bangsar as I have a case review. Therefore, I had some extra time to sit at the lounge after having my lunch.

Afternoon clinic next before driving back. The evening drive would be a slow one ....

How Could I Cope?

Just had dinner and was flipping through the channels on TV. Man Citeh playing Spurs. Right before United travel to Cardiff. And all this while Formula 1 was going on. The last ace for the season. Not much riding on the race but it would be he swan song for Mark Webber.

So, just plotting out about how I would cope tonight .....

Din Sum. Again.

After the ward round this morning which only finished just before noon, we looked for a place to eat. Anita didn't plan to cook as we were only at the apartment overnight. We didn't pack much. We had enough drinks and junk food to last a week, but nothing perishable.

The boys were only about to hit the showers when I reached the apartment, so we went to Sime Darby Convention Centre for the din sum which of course cane with a 20% staff discount.

As usual, food was great but the place was packed this afternoon. Luckily we called in before we set off to make sure there would be a table.

After the food was done, I couldn't really open my eyes anymore. Time for the afternoon nap. Before heading back to Gombak of course. When I truly knew that the weekend was over ....
