Who's Fault?

Julia came around to pick Imran and spent the afternoon at the apartment with her other children, Nana and Alya. We had lunch, then tea. It was havoc despite the heavy rain outside. The boys and girls were playing in the rooms while the adults dosed off to sleep in the nice cool breeze.

When it came for the afternoon tea, Anita asked me to heat the oven while she took the frozen pizza out for the kids. A mini disaster. I guessed I was too hot for the oven!

I had to head out to hospital a couple of times but luckily it was only a 15 minutes drive from the apartment. If it wasn't for the rain. I suspected that we would have been hitting the pool by now ....

Fixed

Last week, I managed to damage ny side mirror at the car park at Park City. The actual derails should remain unmentioned, but suffice to say that I had to get it fixed.

Puan Anita stepped in and organised the car to be picked up and the parts ordered. Which was a great help actually.

Now that it was fixed, I could use it again to get to work. No more lugging around the MPV about town.

Game Time

With the boys locked in their consoles the whole day, I decided to join then after dinner last night. We played a volleyball game in the Xbox with me partnering Idlan. For the game, the Kinect unit would read our gestures, meaning the movements were just like when you were actually playing the game.

I was OK on the first game. But by the time I finished the third, I was already sweating and dizzy! Not a bad way to exercise really. But best bot do it straight after dinner. There was a risk of finding the dinner on the floor before long.

Would definitely be giving it another go later this afternoon.

All Day Gaming Session

The boys were really enjoying their time off. They were both happy to have their cousin brother around. They slept with him in Idlan's room, not waking up until almost the afternoon. Then, they started another game console session until Anita chased them into the bathroom.

Feeding them lunch was also a challenge! They had just finished tucking into their lunch when I arrived for lunch. By the time I left for the afternoon clinic, they were back at it!

I was sure it would continue until tomorrow .....

Sunny Morning

It certainly had been a really nice sunny morning. Shame that I had to be on call. KL was almost empty with the dwellers taking advantage of the extended weekend - tomorrow would be another public holiday.

Woke up early but left the apartment later than usual as the drive was a short one. Finished my rounds before departing to Park City for another round and clinic there.

Went to the apartment for lunch - Anita prepared some spaghetti for us. Enjoy the great weather in a nice afternoon breeze before heading back to Subang to start the afternoon clinic and see the admissions.

It looked like the dark clouds had started to roll in now. It would starts to rain later this afternoon I was sure. The great weather didn't seem to last the whole day in KL .....
