Long Sunday

It certainly had been a long day. After sending my Mum to the airport, I went straight for the morning ward round, having breakfast after that before returning to the ward to check on some results.

Next order of business was to join Anita and the boys at Kidzania. Sunday. Not a good day for such activity even when the boys were already queuing for their tickets before 10 in the morning. That tool is well after lunch, and finally the boys relented to go home.

We had some take-outs at The Curve, and then went to the apartment as our maid had been there all morning cleaning the place. I would be spending a couple of nights there as Anita and the boys would be going to limit next week during their school break. Unfortunately I had a couple of calls to so and had to be left behind.

Tired from being up since 3 in the morning, I had a long afternoon nap at the apartment while the boys played around. They were too tired for the pools however and spent the time watching TV. And that was fine with Anita.

I had a matter to attend in the ward when I finally woke up and by the time I was done at Subang, it was already 8 pm. A quick dinner and then football. I was dozing off during the match. United managed to restore their 15 points gap while City was at Wembley playing Chelsea in the FA Cup semi-final. It could have easily been us playing City If not for the complacency against Chelsea in the earlier round ...

So, I need to catch up on some rest before doing my clinic in ParkCity tomorrow morning. Good night!

Graduated

After a couple of months worth of lesson, Idlan finally graduated. To using flippers. He was allowed to ditch his floater and for the session yesterday had been zooming around the pool with his new tools.

His love affair with it didn't stop there. He made sure that his name was printed on the pair of flippers after he washes them at home. Now he's looking forward to next weekend's session. Bless him ....

Hectic LCCT

An early start this morning. Sending my Mum and Aunt to LCCT. They had to catch the 7am AirAsia flight to Vietnam. That meant that they had to check-in by 5.30, and setting off from Bukit Antarabangsa by 4 in the morning.

Even though the drive in was smooth, the traffic got a lot heavier by the time we reached KLIA. And it was still about 4.30am.

The place got unbelievably crowded by the time I reached LCCT to drop my Mum. Next order of business would be to find a parking slot. Long queue and unhelpful signage made the simple task complicated.

Sunday morning and the terminal was super crowded. Checking in also took rather long. Luckily my Mum was traveling in a group. She didn't have to queue up for the group check-in and everything was sorted out in time.

Wishing her a safe journey, I was just about to leave for an early start for my ward round. On second thought, maybe I just have a breakfast first.

Notice Board!

One of the things I picked up during my travel to Kyoto recently was a new notice board for Irfan. Remember that he liked to post up handwritten notices on the door when he was not impressed with something? Now, he has a proper board to write on.

It was written in colourful ink, and completely wipeable using a piece of wet cloth. Perfect! He has yet to put up any notice in anger so far. More entries from my Kyoto trip here.

Impressive Resolution

I couldn't help but be impressed with the new update on my Android Twitter client. On my Nexus 4, it looked rather amazing. Not just the high resolution, but the font type. It looked like Apple would have their job cut out to update the resolution on the next generation iPhone. Yes! I know, resolution is not everything. So, I suggest you have a look at the Android Twitter client and experience it yourself ….. I'm sure you'd be impressed as well.
