Back into the Groove

The traffic had built up to the usual size today, making my drive to Park City that bit longer. It looked like the holiday season was over despite the school opening being delayed until next Monday. I guessed parents who anticipated the first day of school being last week had used up their holidays and were back to the office.

After my Park City clinic, I took a bit of a detour to Sri Utama to settle the school fees. They were opened next week as well.

We would still be at the apartment until the weekend. Next week, I would be driving from Gombak again. Not looking forward to that ...

Hooray for a School Holidays

It was kinda weird to have the school holiday starting on a Wednesday. All out of a sudden the traffic to work was light and reaching the hospital early although were desirable at times, could be rather boring.

I ended up finishing my round early, and had my breakfast before leaving for my clinic at Park City. Such a blissful drive.

I wished that it was like this every morning. But being on call this morning meant that the serenity would be broken very soon ....

Best to enjoy it while it lasted ...

Post Call Monday

The call yesterday started quiet enough but I ended up being interrupted at night multiple times. Hardly any sleep in the end, with starting my ward round at seven in the morning.

All was done in the end and straight after my clinic in Park City was done, I had to stop for lunch before the afternoon clinic. It was pleasant enough at Bangsar this noon, with nice breeze and sunny weather.

The problem would be to drag myself back to Subang for the afternoon clinic and ward round. I really need the sleep tonight ...

Smooth Traffic

Since the schools in Kelang Valley were closed today, traffic to work was smooth, although visibility was definitely affected by the haze. After seeing my patient in Subang, I then drove across to ParkCity. Again, traffic was smooth.

I was sure that many parents had to take emergency leaves today as they would struggle to get anybody to look after their children since the school closure was only announced late yesterday. That helped to explain the lack of traffic on the road.

For today, I had clinics and referrals to see. That should start me out for the coming few days.

I will be on call this Friday, so I had a few days to rejuvenate. In the mean time, let's enjoy the traffic, if not the haze.
