To Construct

The new tower beside my ward was really sprouting up fast. There was a delay in the starting I the construction, but once the go ahead was given, things really started moving. The worry about banging sounds were also unfounded and I found that the disruption was minimal.

Since the building was taking shape right next to my ward, there was always the worry about fungal spores. We had been lucky so far. There had been no incidents.

Looking forward to the building vein finished. And that was mainly because of the promised food stalls being planned. I need proper lunch some time.

Reading Up

A bit sad, but I reckoned that I would have limited amount of time to explore Atlanta. And even if I had the time, the weather might not be kind, or I might be too tired to go out. In any case, it would be a good idea to read up more about Atlanta. And that was exactly what I did last night.

First, I needed to identify the shopping district as I planned to get that out of he way first thing. After that, try to identify a route for waking around town - which is safe to take with a camera. Maybe some nice cafe to visit.

There were a few suggestions but it may be more suitable during the summer months. A quick Google search showed that the weather won't be too cold. Around 13C. Nightfall would come a bit earlier though.

Let the Packing Commence!

Finally I was in the mood. I had been busy sorting out my calls, as well as arranging my patients due for chemotherapy, that I felt that packing then was somehow, inappropriate. Now that those were more or less sorted, it was time for me to get things organised. And as usual, I started with the planning.

Now that the plans were on paper, the next would be to calculate the cost ……. FIUH!

Suffice to say that I would be broke ……

Most Expensive Tea

One of our college friends had just returned from Sri Lanka, and try had brought a few things back from there. They decided to hate with us a treat. What was it?

It was claimed to e the most expensive tea in the world, packed in silver-lined packing, and tucked away inside a wooden case. The leaves were hand picked and brewing them only took 4 minutes. It was claimed to be an aphrodisiac. Even the cover was shall we say, suggestive .....

I had a couple of cups. Refreshing. But unfortunately, I was more of a coffee drinker.

What was left?

It had been a couple of weeks since the panels were removed. The crowds were all gone, but it felt that it was a long time ago that the works were done. I realised this while climbing up to my clinic using the stairs yesterday. It was replaced by some plywood.

I wonder if they would replaced it soon with some permanent glass panel. I would wonder then how long before the fungus would would appearing. What would it looked this time?
