Fever was back

It looks like the infection was back. I had been having sore throat for the last couple of days and had been having gouging fits in front of my patients in clinic earlier today. Idlan's fever was back since last night and Anita took him to see our GP friend again earlier. His antibiotics were changed and a sample of blood was taken. Since coming back from clinic, Anita started having a temperature as well. The only one who was well was Irfan, and he has been jumping up and down all day.

We decided to huddle together at home tonight. I will have to get better by tomorrow as I will be teaching the MRCP candidates at Hospital Sg Buloh tomorrow and Sunday. Going to be a long hog that. Idlan was now back to sleep. He looked toxic earlier. If the fever continues, it may be time to take him to Pantai to see his Paediatrician. Apparently the Paediatrician himself was having a fever and had to close his clinic for the day. Hopefully things would settle down by tomorrow.

Last Day! Hurray!

It would come to an end. In fact, I wrote this during lunch, and we would have another couple of sessions before the workshop done. All in all, it has been a success. This was the third time that I was tutoring a similar workshop, and I must say, this has been the best lot. We would be discussing how we could integrate what we learned in the last couple of days in our daily practice, and looking forward to hear what the participants had to say.

Day Two

Day two passed by in double quick time. I was not really that fully awake forget thing after waking up early to catch the United match. After a couple of coffee breaks, I was good to go.

A blurry view from my chairThe first session was notable, much down to the effort of Su May making medical statistics both simple and fun. It was very clear that the participants enjoyed it. This was followed by small group discussion on appraising clinical papers. Before long, it was pretty clear that the participants started to recognise the pattern emerging in spotting a sound paper, compared to the dodgy ones. Objective achieved. Everyone can go home happy, to come back for the wrap up sessions tomorrow.

We are through

Managed to catch the last 15 minutes of the match last night after setting my alarm for 4 am. As I switched on the TV, Park had just netted out second, and little did I know the drama of the previous ten or so minute, with the Ramirez sending off and the unlikely equaliser by Drogma. Plus the instant reply at the other end with a sublime pass from the evergreen Giggsy. Party on people!

Bring on Citeh this weekend!

He is back!

Oh! Dear! He was really back and creating havoc in the front living room. Puan Anita was watching her documentary on William and Kate, and to be honest, was happy to let them run around. Why not. Both of the boys had so much energy to burn.
