Mid Valley Sunshine

The Theta then travelled with me to Mid Valley. After doing the groceries and dumping them down into the trunk of the car, Anita and I went out separate ways. She had to do her shopping alone of course! While I explored the decorations with my P9 and Theta.

Many VR videos and 360 degrees photos ensued.

The Orange Sofa

I thought I upload this photo of me on the newly installed orange sofa at the main entrance of my apartment. I was waiting for a friend to come and pick up a lens he wanted to use during Raya. While waiting, I thought I would just take the Theta out and see what happened.

A quick snap and that was it. Mid Valley next!

The Raya Cards

It was becoming a dying tradition. I have received that many Raya cards in the last few years. Those that came were more from patients and corporate bodies. Getting personal cards are exceedingly rare nowadays.

But I have been keeping that tradition going and every year, I made it a point to sent as many as I could. Certainly it was a challenge in this digital age and the fact that our favourite card store had closed three months ago. Getting food Raya greeting cards were not that easy anymore, let alone ordering personalised ones printed.

I had also been bad at keeping up to date with addresses. So, some in couldn't send due to address issues. It was the thought that counted I supposed.

Crazy Chocolates

One of Anita's weakness was chocolate and when it came to that, she loved Patchi. There were a few outlets that do them in town and the nearest one to us was Bangsar Shopping Centre.

Patchi were not cheap. And exploring the place the other night we peeked at the Raya hampers that they sold. They were going in the thousands of ringgit. One of the bowl filled with chocolate actually went for RM5000! That was what an average Malaysian blue collar worker make in a month!

These were going in the thousands

My God! But any hampers to my clinic from Patchi were actually most welcomed if you catch my drift ....

Outing to The Curve

We had a long day today with the school ferry and Idlan's extra class that we postponed our groceries run until afetr berbuka. I had to go to the bank anyway and we decided to have a look at what was going on at The Curve.

Nothing fancy in terms of decorations but they certainly had plenty of stalls there. Expensive on the whole, and we ended up not buying anything.

By the time the groceries were done, most of the restaurants had stopped taking orders. Which was a shame since I was starving ....
