What was left?

It had been a couple of weeks since the panels were removed. The crowds were all gone, but it felt that it was a long time ago that the works were done. I realised this while climbing up to my clinic using the stairs yesterday. It was replaced by some plywood.

I wonder if they would replaced it soon with some permanent glass panel. I would wonder then how long before the fungus would would appearing. What would it looked this time?

It Was Definitely Down

As I walked towards the car park on the way home just now, the couple of panels which the apparition appeared on had been replaced by dark panes. They had finally managed to bring the window panes down. I then noticed a sign for the public announcing that the windows were lowered this morning at about 10 am without incident. The panels were transported to the Catholic Church, Our Lady of Lourdes in Klang. I imagine the faithful would be congregating there soon ........

Is it Coming Down?

It was not really my business, but the parking lot being clogged up, and your patients wouldn't stop talking about it, one just couldn't help but to take notice. Rumour has it that the famed pane at my hospital's stairwell would finally be coming down today. And certainly the weather was nice enough for that.

The crowd as usual built up from early this morning, and I could see engineers going into the locked stairwell which I often used prior to this famous episode. No official word yet, but people were talking. Let's just hope that the operation went on without a hitch. Imagine the uproar if the pane were damaged, or worst even, dropped during the dismantling. I shudder to that thought ....

Come Rain Come Shine

There were rumours that the now famous glass pane at SDMC would be moved to a church in Kelang, but it had yet to happened. As a result, the place became crowded again. It was Awal Muharram today, and therefore, the place was full of devotees. At least the traffic flow was better managed. I was able to get in and out with relative ease, although to exit the car park, I had to take a turn around the hospital building.

My Hospital is Famous

I was sure most KL folks had learned about the shroud on one of the windows of the North Tower o my hospital by now. It was in the news, and this being a Sunday, the place was packed.

I came a bit late for my morning rounds today but the crowd had already started coming in by 9 am. By the afternoon, it was fever pitch. I didn't have any patients in the afternoon and was only called in at about 6. I couldn't get to the car park.

I ended up having to walk about half a mile, parking my car at the roadside in SS 12. It was gridlocked. And the crowd wasn't exactly the forgoing type. I couldn't get through and decided just to walk.

It was still full at the moment even though it was already dark outside. I was just waiting for another scan to be reported, but otherwise I was just chilling in. I just managed to retrieve my car. No dents.

I would be on call again on Tuesday, another public holiday being Deepavali. It is going to be another nightmare day, unless somebody do something about it, or the Police would come over to watch over traffic.
