Let's Putt at Mini Putt

Another busy day at the office this being Saturday. And for the afternoon, I joined Anita at nearby Citta Mall as the boys joined their classmates from school for a spot of miniature golf.

The venue was on the first floor of the complex, in a cute little establishment called Mini Putt.

Julia trying out her luckThis hole may turn out to be my favouriteIt has 18 holes complete with the obligatory obstacles. Some cute ones, some pretty basic. All in good fun. Prize was rather steep though. RM 10 for children and double that for adults.

They have all you need there, the balls and putter of course of various sizes. The children really enjoyed it. Maybe one could organise a birthday party there. Hmmm! That's an idea...

Settling In

In the end, it took a couple of carful of luggage to complete the move to the apartment. Unpacked and finally settled unfit the night, with a quick trip to the ward to boot.

Dinner was done and now I was sitting in front of the TV watching United away at Villa. The boys had got their toys organised in their rooms and it looked like it would be a long evening. They often get overexcited on the first evening at the apartment, going to bed late and got up even later the next morning. Sure looked like the trend going to continue this time around.

Not sure what Anita got planned for tomorrow. At least she has a car with her should she wanted to go out with the kids. I have my schedule were tied up with clinic at Park City in the morning.

Weekend Out

Now that Idlan had recovered from his operation last week, it was time to make the move to apartment for the rest of the holiday months. Unfortunately due tmynwork commitment, we onlplanned to gavel some time next month, just before the school term starts.

The boys had been looking forward to the move. Packing hasn't started yet however. So, the next couple of days would be occupied with that.

With the maid away, Anita felt that it would be easier to cope at the apartment rather than the Gombak house. We could also travel in and out much easier from the apartment as well. The boys also prefer their own room.

So, at least we had plenty to occupy ourselves for the weekend.

Taman Warisan Pertanian

It threatened to rain. But it was only a slight drizzle. It was enough though for us to abandon the plan to walk the promenade and settled instead with a stop at Taman Warisan Pertanian.

Back when Anita was carrying Idlan, we came here to meet up with our collegemates for a quick teh tarik session. Very nice ambience and with the cooking breeze, the place was a hidden gem.

Nine years had passed. We've been there a few times but never actually looked around. We did this afternoon.

The main eating promenade. It was raining then. The whole area would require a good few hours to fully exploreIt was early afternoon when we reached there, and most of the stalls were still closed. But even then, I couldn't help but sense that the place felt abandoned. Maintenance was pretty decent, but one of the main attraction of the bazaar was an open kitchen when one just walk by and grab their order a la a buffet.

That part of the bazaar had been closed. Just the stall building remained. Maybe the management was concentrating on other aspects of the facilities moving forward.

Plenty of empty space, which may indicate that business was rather suspectThis used to be an open stall areaI saw many families as well as a couple of busloads of school children stopping by when we were there, perhaps taking shelter while on a trip to visit Putrajaya. We didn't venture into the rest of the facility as the bazaar only formed the entrance to the whole place. There were plenty more yonder if the weather was good and you had proper gear on. A great place for a family day out I was sure.

Day Off

So, I have a day off today. My last day off - Sunday was a non-event with Idlan's fever, I could do with a day out with the boys. God knows how many day they had been cooked in the house.

The nice thing was, only Selangor was off today - it was the Sultan's birthday - and I was hoping that the malls in KL would be empty. I wouldn't mind visiting Pavilion today for a quick lunch.

But first, better start the ward round. Post call as well.
