Irfan was not Happy

Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at 6:02PM I managed to make some time for myself this afternoon after my ward visit. So, what should I do? Pavilion it was. I wanted to have a look at the new Blackberry Z10. I haven't used Blackberry before in my life but there was something about the new model which appealed to me.
I had a couple of offers at Low Yat, but thinking about the hassle of getting myself another telco account, plus running out space on my trousers to arty another phone, I decided against it. The sad thing was, the vendors there were insistent on me buying one before they allowed me to have a feel of the phone, which I thought was defeating the point. Plan shelved.
Next, I loitered at the mall's foyer after lunch before heading home. It looked like the F1 fever was hitting town. The foyer was filled with F1 cars from yesteryears. A nice sight, and something to keep me snapping away on my camera. Shame that the tickets still cost a bomb!

Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at 9:04AM Being on leave, I was hoping to get my website sorted out as well as doing other things online. Unfortunately, since yesterday evening, my P1 connection had been playing up again. Not just dropped connections. It was no connections.
This had been going on for the last few weeks, and it was becoming unreliable of late.
So, had to delay my online stuff until later. Would be heading to Telekom after this to pay some bills, then off to the hospital for a quick rounds and to do some procedures. I should be free after that. Hmmm! Time for a photowalk maybe then .....

Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at 7:56AM Irfan had to draw his family during one of his class assignments last week. In was due to be handed in later this week, and so far he had only had the outline done. He was asking us what to do with the background.
But to be honest, even the outline alone was a winner. It was a cute drawing nonetheless. Well done Irfan.

It was a not-so-great end to a wonderful weekend. First, Dato' Lee Chong Wei appeared lethargic in what could have been his third All-England title in five years. He was clearly not in his best form, and quite rightly, was beaten by Cheng Long in straight set.
Then, I took a nap and set my alarm for then Man United-Chelsea match. It was already the second half when I woke up, and I caught Chelsea pegging United back from two goals behind. We were lucky that we did not get beat. At least there would be a return leg at Stamford Bridge. So, it could've been worst ....
