Not sure if I should take a snooze or just watch the TV. I was so sleepy after lunch and wished that I stayed at the apartment instead of just waiting at the lounge passing time. I was not in the mood to read either.
I knew I have a paper to review, but I was just too sleepy ......

It was raining heavily when I set off this morning, making the usually heavy traffic to work now heavy and slow. Took me close to 90 minutes to reach the hospital and it was 9.30 when I finished the ward round.
I then set off back into town, again facing heavier traffic than I expected. This time to accompany Anita at the dentist. She didn't know that I was coming, and our driver told us when I called that try were late to reach the clinic. So, when I reached the Tawakal, Anita was still with the dentist.
I was waiting outside at the waiting area, with sound of drills coming from behind the door. Hmmm .... I was sure Anita was having fun!

The morning started smoothly enough with the nice weather and the quick drive from the apartment to the ward. The ward round also went fine. We then went for a late breakfast at Bangsar Shopping Center where we bumped into one of the boys' buddies and their parents.
Unfortunately, that was the highlight. It went downhill after that. Or at least, not according to the plan.
The original idea was to head out to Low Yat to survey for the laptop for the Haematology Society. But with, the breakfast cum lunch finishing later than planned, we decided not to go together. I would go to Low Yat alone - Anita likes to walk around Pavilion usually.
I then got a call from my sister that my Mum had been under the weather since last night. She had a slight virus I think and had been feeling sick overnight. Much better today, and we bought her and Dad some tea. We hang around until late afternoon, until I had to go back to the hospital to review a couple of the inpatients.
So, two big plans for the weekend had to be shelved. The photo walk and the trip to Low Yat for gadget browsing. Never mind. At least I got to spend some quality time with Anita and the family. Happy Sunday evening all ....

After returning from Great Eastern Mall, we settled down and then was surprised that there were no water when we wanted to hit the shower. Hmmm! I guessed Syabas was at it again. No water during the weekend - usually it was the low water pressure. And this was despite the heavy downpour in Klang Valley in the last few days.
Anyhow, we decided to pack up and head to the apartment for the night. A nice bak I thought for the boys, Irfan especially after his ordeal at the dentist.
It was 11 pm and both of them were still with their iPad. They planned to wake up late tomorrow morning .....
You Got Balls Sir
I went to bed extra early yesterday, and missed the historic jump by Felix Baungartner. I mean, you have to give it to the man. To free fall from 120000 feet, hitting supersonic speed, and staring death on the face, this man has balls!
He had been planning the jump for the last 5 years, and with the amount of sponsorship he acquired, he was able to get a solid team behind him, including the very man whose record he broken, Joe Kittinger.
So, I woke up this morning, scanning the web and frantically reading my RSS feed. He made it. He had come scary moment with his visor fogging up and being temporarily caught in a potentially deadly spin. His base jumping experience told, and he managed to reach the Earth in one piece.
He broken a bunch of record, but missed out on the free fall duration record. I guessed he went supersonic and called down much faster than he reckon, and burned out the altitude faster than he thought. Either way, it was still great achievement. Well done Mr Baungartner. Datukship for him surely ….
