The Boys were Back

The wait was finally over. The boys were back at the apartment. Anita had dinner before leaving and by the time that was done, the traffic had already subsided and the boys were fuelled up.

The plan would be to stay at the apartment until next weekend as next week would be one of those weird three day week.

So, the moment they arrived, the boys unpacked and were camped in their room. Back to the consoles and it would be a challenge to get them to sleep later tonight. According to Irfan, bedtime was cancelled. Good luck!

Alone at the Apartment

I had to attend to a patient late tonight and rather than returning back to Gombak in the middle of the night, I decided to stay at the apartment rather. So, I was alone. At least for tonight.

Since there would be a couple of holidays next week - Tuesday being Maulud Rasul and Friday Thaipusam - we decided to stay at the apartment for the week.

Ended up watching tennisSo, what would I be doing tonight? The Australian Open tennis official film was on TV. Might as well watch that one.

New Year's Morning

After a good night's sleep, I was treated to nice sunny morning when I prepared to go to the hospital the morning round. Really brightened the mood.

Nice relaxing breakfast with Anita - the boys were still asleep - before having a relaxing drive to work. It barely took ten minutes from my car park to work with the traffic being so light.

But the perfection didn't last long and chaos ensue right after I started the round. Well, enough sunshine for the day.

For those having a nice easy day today, do spend time with the family. I would be doing just that this afternoon.

Happy 2014

We enjoyed the firework display right from our balcony at the stroke of midnight tonight. Great view of Kuala Lumpur skyline, able to see from KLCC to Cheras. Not as spectacular as yesteryears, reflecting the current economic constraint as well as the decision to cordone off the traditional gathering place of Dataran Merdeka.

Partypoopers.

So, the four of us was at the balcony staring away. One of our neighbour must have hosted a New Year party judging from the cheers and whistles coming out from the unit. All looking towards the City Center. At least didn't rain.

So, to all my friends and colleagues, wishing all of you a great year ahead. Cheers to 2014. Cheerios to 2013.
