This is War!

I went to bed early last night with my head cold, leaving the boys to run riot in the main room. So, when I woke up this morning, this was what I saw on the floor next to my table, with a warning from Puan Anita to navigate around the toys.

Not sure what they had in mind but surely I would find our soon enough!

Trouble Brewing

This was the sight that greeted me when I arrived home from work yesterday. Suffice to say, there was a spring cleaning going on at the study as far as Lego pieces were concerned. The last time this happened, half the stuff on my table went missing. Apparently, Irfan had the urge to clear things up …….. Better keep my stuff at a safe place then …..

Christmas Eve

It was a actually a great day out for us for Xmas Eve. After work, I took everybody out to Bangsar Village, where we had lunch and did some shopping. And shopping we did. I got myself a few shirts as well as hanging around with the boys while Anita tried out some clothes.

My boys went berserk on these Lego. Luckily they were tucked away behind a glass shield.A mountain of Ninja-go!The Dude and the Duchess. Our new favourite clothing shop!Very trendy clothes they areTime to murder some ice creamIdlan doing the murdering. With a bib of course! The messy aftermathAfter a stop for ice-cream, and then we went to the park. Ran around, for close to an hour before heading for an early dinner. We were lucky since the the place we went to - Delicious at Dua Residences - were filled to the brim by the time we left. There were Christmas Eve dinner as well as parties going on at the venue. And the food was great. I decided against roast chicken however, and had some steak instead.

Time for Christmas Eve dinner!TIDAK HALAL!By the time we reached home, everyone was tired. I was asleep at the sofa well before 10 pm and the boys had to wake me up to get back to the bedroom.

It was a full day indeed!

A Day as a Driver

Today was spent being a driver. Idlan was at the Lego camp and Anita was right next door at Bangsar Village II for a facial. We timed it so that both went on at the same time, but I thought Anita overdid it a bit this week. The facial took a good 3 hours almost. I was sure she was talked into having extra treatment. By the time she was done, Idlan was right grumpy.

Idlan made a crane at the camp today and from the way he described it, he was having a great time. The camp, as he liked to call it was on the second floor of Village II. He went there for an hour and a half each Saturday. Each trip offered different activities, and today he made himself a crane, complete with gears and pulleys. No electronic motors this week. Irfan on the other hand refused to go. He pointed out that the class was only for those already in primary School. Missing out on all the fun I supposed.

Idlan was ready to goNext, I would have to drive to Pasar Ramadhan. And that I didn't mind.

Counseling Needed?

Irfan's handy work

While doing some last minute shopping last night, I sat Idlan around the Lego table. I then continued to do my chores. Idlan was sat there with Irfan building with the bricks. Irfan built himself what I thought was age-appropriate ‘tower’ stuff or what not. As for Idlan? Oh! My God! Such a nerd! “Idlan, this is not about separating the colours! And you want to be an architect when you grow up?” Shall with this space!

Idlan started offThe end product ..... Gosh!Should I be concerned about the building he will be designing in the future ..... may be that will be the future trend, you never know!
