Meeting was Over
Sunday, December 4, 2011 at 4:59PM
It was finally over. Luckily, this time around, traffic was not an issue. I remembered in the last few UMNO meetings, the road was practically a gridlock, especially at around 7, as the VIP were leaving the site, all with their accompanying police escort. At least, I have not seen any of those escorts this time around. But maybe because I tended to leave for home a bit later lately.
Regular readers to the blog understood my pet hate of the outriders. The Politicians used this unnecessarily in my opinion and it should only be used when they are absolutely needed. I tended not to give way to them. For me, it was not a matter of life and death. It was sad that people tended to give way to these jokers than they do to passing ambulances.
This year, despite not being the election year, the UMNO meeting had its share of excitement, no less with the Feedlot controversy, and the fiery speech from the Women Wing Head. Great stuff.

Diary The Route
Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at 7:25PM So, I'm getting used to the journey into work and sensibly speaking, 45 minutes seemed to be the time required. I have tried a few route, and finally settles with the route via DUKE, toward Sprint Highway via Hartamas, cutting past Kerinchi Link straight onto Federal Highway just before UMMC.
From then on, it would be another 15 minutes as the ramp at Sunway can be occasionally congested. A left turn after that and I would already be at the carpark.

Diary Where are the Traffic?
Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at 10:35AM I was really surprised with the traffic this morning. Especially after being stuck along NKVE last night on the way home. I was lucky that Anita and the children were at the Curve with one of her friends, so I joined them for dinner there half way home.
This morning, the road were almost deserted. I arrived at work just after 30 minutes. At the mess, everybody was talking about it and the clinics were empty. We suspected that it had something to do with the start of PMR today. Parents nowadays were concerned enough that most of then took leave to make sire their children were ready for the big exam. I suspect Anita would do the same when the time comes .....
