Not So Early
Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at 8:13PM After sorting out my clinic and ward patient early this afternoon, I prepared to head home at just after 4 to check on Idlan. A quick look at the exit, and I knew I would be delayed. I then took my time, got a drink and check on some results before setting off. The traffic eased off soon after, but while it lasted, it was pretty bad.
Right round the corner is the private school, Sri KL. the students ended their school hour just after 3, and the whole place would be packed during that time. Traffic both in and out of SDMC would be bad while the students cleared the place. Time to avoid the area at that time.

What Traffic?
I thought it was only me complaining about how bad the traffic was this morning. It turned out that the whole of KL did the same. It had been raining since 3 am and some pa of KL were flooded. The flood also affected some of the main roads, causing bad congestion.
I was tired last night, and went to bed rather early - earlier than I planned as United would be kicking off at 11. By 10, I could hardly keep my eyes opened. I gave up soon after and woke up around 5 in the morning. and it was raining heavily then. As KL tended to jam up in the rain, I left early. I got into the car at around 6.45, and got stuck as soon as I entered DUKE. I finally reached the hospital at around 7.45. Imagine if I were to set off a bit later .....
Even Puan Anita was late getting the boys to school in the rain. Luckily, the rain stopped by 10, and as I was enjoying my early lunch today in Bangsar, it was already nice and sunny. And it stayed sunny until the afternoon.
I finished the clinic and ward round early and set off home before 5, and I was too tired to attend the talk in town.
