Halloween?

As it was Wednesday morning today, the absence of morning clinic allowed me to do errands and other things. A nice break mid week. One of the things I built into my timetable, until the SDMC branch at Desa Parkcity is opened of course as I would be having clinics there then.

This morning, I had breakfast in Bangsar and couldn't help but noticed the decorations at Bangsar Village II. Was it part of their Halloween thing? Too late for loo cake festival either.

Not Done

It was a frustrating evening actually. I had been trying to sort out my visa application for the coming Atlanta trip in December, but the website crashed. The sad thing was, it did not save my applications details, and I ended up having to start from the beginning. I also realised that I needed a few more documents, ass well as new set of photos to be scanned and uploaded.

With me being on call tomorrow, it looked like I had to delay it until Friday at the earliest. So, it won't be ready before this weekend. Sigh!

It was a good thing as well, as it would allow me time to get the other documents in order. I am not getting apprehensive about entering the US with all the stories about the interrogation at the Immigrations. I would think that entering Myanmar might be easier .....

Need Motivation

Not sure if I should take a snooze or just watch the TV. I was so sleepy after lunch and wished that I stayed at the apartment instead of just waiting at the lounge passing time. I was not in the mood to read either.

I knew I have a paper to review, but I was just too sleepy ......

A Different Start

It was a lightly different routine for me for this week. I have to get to the sister hospital at Ara Damansara as I have a patient to see there. I had a few patients there before, and I find that traveling back and fro in the heavy traffic could be taxing. Therefore, I would go there first thing in the morning, and if necessary, last thing in the evening.

The hospital was however a lot different than the busy SDMC at Subang Jaya. More spacious. More relaxing. But at the moment, not geared up to my specialty. Otherwise it was a nice relaxing detour from an otherwise routine morning.

Late Start

As usual, the first thing I did when I woke up at the apartment was to open the verandah door. It looked like it was king to be sunny outside. But the moment I the door open, the smell of haze struck me. That pungent, woody sensation. Really threw me off. I just wished that it won't be hazy later, since I got plans for the day.

I wanted to attend the KL Photography Festival at Mid Valley, but I would probably be stuck in traffic heading there do late. I'll take my chances anyhow .....
