Teh Tarik it is

The admissions were coming rather too slow tonight. I decided to catch an early dinner but when I wanted to get out and pay, it started raining heavily. I was still stuck at the restaurant when I wrote this and the rain did not seem to be letting up.

Not much to eat here as I was already full and there were a couple of admissions waiting as well as a few other things to sort out in the ward. So, time for another cup of teh tarik! Cheers!

Tennis Time

Time to chill after the morning clinic and what more can I ask but a quick coffee in front of the TV watching a spot of live tennis. What's on offer? Murray playing his first round match at the Aussie Open. A bit one-sided though.

I might just race things through and get out early as I have to sort out some stuff at the bank. But, on with the tennis first.

Sunny Morning

Now, why does the weather always turned out to be much nicer when you were crammed inside being on call? It happened again to me this morning, and the sky was nice and blue all morning, although it later turned cloudy and rained by late afternoon.

We have booked a week break in the middle of December at Sunway Lagoon Resort Hotel and hopefully the would be great then as well .....

Nice Drive In

A day after Deepavali and the traffic was really kind. I left the house later than usual this morning but still got in early. It looked like the KL crowd were still having a day off. Hopefully that stays until the end of the week.

A Quick Cuppa

I found myself having too much free time in between lunch and late free boom ward round. Most of that time was spent hanging around the Doctor's mess.

But luckily today, there were procedures to be done. Another 10 minutes before everything cooked. Just enough time for a cup of coffee. It looked gloomy again outside. Very likely that I would be driving home in the rain again, although that would be after dinner as there is a meeting I would be attending in Ara Damansara a bit later on.
