First day back

For some reason, I was feeling more exhausted than usual today. Some might say that age is getting to me. It maybe true. It's just that I was feeling more run down than usual. It may be down to the fact that a lot had happened in the last few days and all the excitement may have gotten into me mentally. It did not help that I zoomed off to Kuala Kangsar on Saturday to attend the doa selamat at our new house.

My father-in-law was doing OK although I still have to visit him every night to administer his jabs. I will also be to his house early tomorrow morning to draw some blood. He is due for his test then. If his INR comes back OK then that will be the end of his injections for the time being.

Another thing Puan Anita pointed out was the boys going back to school. Everyone was excited and so was I. I could really do with a good night rest. Habibah will be attending a course in Ampang Hospital tomorrow morning, so it will be another long day. To cut a long story short, one might say that I was really looking forward to tomorrow. Well, it could be worst!

Being organised is a relative term but this is the most organised I have been for weeks!

It's Tuesday. It is the day when I don on my pink shirt and determine not to see any patients but to concentrate on just doing paperwork, research and some reading. Got in early and start going through my in tray and got a lot done. Unfortunately the work just don't want to get away. They are just piling in. Not to mention one of my aunties just arrived asking me for directions to visit my uncle. Well. Work has to wait for a bit.

My Uncle is now doing very well and will likely be able to leave hospital by the end of the week. Yup! I managed to go through a pile and planning another assault this afternoon patient permitting ....

Finally the Day Care is done. Transplant clinic next! Then another meeting.

Puasa on Saturday

Did not have the best start to the day today. Woke up at 4.30 to check on the football scores. Sneaked upstairs and flipped through the channels. All the channels are showing Champion League Qualifiers though. So, switched on the modem, quick browse to football365.com. Ah? Burnley 1 ManYoo 0? I have woken up into a nightmare haven't I?

Went back to sleep, had to endure plenty of abuse from my ManYoo-hating friends the whole day. My wife was looking forward to the afternoon since her Baju Raya is already ready. What? Not even started Puasa yet, she has already picked up her Baju Raya? As for me, it has been a busy day, with plenty of paperworks and letters to do. Kept getting email notifications during the whole time about people commenting on ManYoo still! How can I get away? ARGH!

Tonight, the familiar face - the Penyimpan Mohor Besar Raja-Raja, a title as peculiar as his job description - made the announcement that the start of Ramadhan will be the day after tomorrow. Which reminds me to apply for the Hari Raya leaves tomorrow morning.
