Sunny Morning

It certainly had been a really nice sunny morning. Shame that I had to be on call. KL was almost empty with the dwellers taking advantage of the extended weekend - tomorrow would be another public holiday.

Woke up early but left the apartment later than usual as the drive was a short one. Finished my rounds before departing to Park City for another round and clinic there.

Went to the apartment for lunch - Anita prepared some spaghetti for us. Enjoy the great weather in a nice afternoon breeze before heading back to Subang to start the afternoon clinic and see the admissions.

It looked like the dark clouds had started to roll in now. It would starts to rain later this afternoon I was sure. The great weather didn't seem to last the whole day in KL .....

Sunday!!!

I was at the hospital until three in the morning, and woke up early to start the rounds so that I would be able to enjoy some family time during lunch.

It was a long morning indeed. Went to Subang, and then ParkCity. Picked up my Mum and Dad before heading back to the apartment to pick up Anita and the boys.

Off we went to Marche. My nephew came along and would be spending the weekend at the apartment with the boys.

Lunch was nice. After sending my parents off, we went to do some groceries at BSC, hanging around a bit more. Unfortunately, I had to go back to the hospital to see an admission.

Better get to bed early tonight as I would be on call tomorrow. Fireworks were still blaring outside. The boys and Imran were still playing in the room. They would be sleeping in Idlan's room tonight. It is going to be havoc!!!!!

Game of Two Halves

It truly was. United started sluggishly in the first five minutes, misplacing passes and getting out of position. This was not helped by the combination of Phil Jones and Tom Cleverley in the middle of the park. Some might think that it was a defensive ploy.

United then got a lucky break and before Fulham could get themselves organised, they were three down, there was barely twenty minutes on the clock.

United then put their feet off the gas pedal, with thoughts of the looming Champions League game midweek. The rhythm then became stagnant and the game just rolled on towards half time.

Along the way, United picked up some injuries and had to make three substitution at the restart. This further disrupted the flow of the game and frankly, United became completely flat and was left hanging towards the end. I really couldn't really complain if Fulham managed to score more than the solitary deflected goal they got as return.

I was not sure United would be able to pick up the gears if Fulham scored again. In the end, I thought we were lucky .......

Games Night

So, Irfan wanted me to set up both the PS3 and 360 at his room at the apartment. He had been bugging me all morning. After the movie trip in the evening, I obliged. And for the past one and a half hour, both Irfan and Idlan had been camped in the room, playing with the Kinect unit. Both of them covered with sweat!

Since they had just finished their end-of-year exam, this would be a respite. They would skip Monday and only be back in school on Wednesday. We would be staying at the apartment until Tuesday, since I would be on call on Monday. Not far for me to travel.

As for me and Anita, it would be football night tonight. United would be away at Fulham! GGMU!

Kneelllll!!!!!

The boys wanted to watch Thor. Anita wanted to watch Thor. But I wanted to watch Loki. It was as simple as that. Loki is the man, and at the rate he was going, I might be heading for a mancrush here!

So, I bought the ticket for the movie - which was selling like hot cakes - online last night. Got some nice seats and right after lunch, settled down for the movie.

It was actually a spectacular show, with enough depth in the storyline to keep the adult hooked, while simple enough for my children to appreciate. The two hours went like a breeze, with a right sting in the end. Enough of a pull to make us wait for the next instalment of the Avenger series.

It was movie money well spent. I would definitely recommend it, although it was not exactly ideal for small children. A bit of violent, and a rather heavy storyline might make them lose interest.
