A Quick Bite

Anticipating the terrible inflight meal, I decided to have a second dinner. I already had some rice at home. Guess that wouldn't be enough. Plus I planned to sleep all through the flight since I was still tried from the call last night.

What should I have? The queue at the cafe here was just too slow and long. Only O'Briens looked a bit sensible. So, that was where I parked.

Most of the Doctors in my group had already checked in but I was yet to find them. Hopefully it wouldn't be a crowded flight as I wanted to have some rest.

Ready to Roll

I only managed to spend about an hour at home as I reached home rather late. Busy on call last night, ending up having to redistribute my patients to be looked after by my colleagues. Luckily, they were all very helpful.

As soon as I arrived home, I did some last minute packing, got my chargers and cameras organised. Documents and currencies and all the necessary stuff.

This being a Monday evening meant that the airport was rather empty. Checking in was straight forward. It was all done straight to Milan, so all I had to carry would be my piece of hand luggage. My flight would be via Amsterdam. Just a short stop there to change gate.

Since I'll be flying KLM, I'd better have something to eat before I leave. The food on the flight tended to be atrocious. And that was on business class. I would be flying cattle tonight ...

Got me some Euros

4. 16. That was the exchange rate this afternoon when I went to the money changer. 1 EUR cost me RM 4.16. I must confess that I haven't been doing any homework as fat as the exchange rate was concerned. I went out thisbafternoon since u had some free time, and just went ahead to buy some Euros. Not cheap from the sound of things.

Even the queue at the exchange was painful. Being at KLCC, there were plenty of foreign visitors doing some business and the clerk seemed to be extra careful in scrutinizing the foreign notes. Maybe they had been conned a few times before.

I would be on call tomorrow, so the only time to get organised was Saturday afternoon. Packing and hair cut done. I only wished that I had more time to relax before the long flight.

Concert Started

I managed to reach the concert hall just in time for Irfan's performance and managed finger them on camera. It was in a big group but Irfan started right at the front. Getting the spot at the front of the stage was also a challenge with all the competitive parents around.

Am now waiting for Idlan's turn and his would be towards the end of the show. In between, we managed ribcage something to eat. I visited the boys at the ready room but they were bit allowed to leave. Poor Irfan had to wait for his brother to finish.

Up Tonight

I was not having the best of days today as ny patient was getting ill. I was up until the early hours, but still the patient deteriorated. With not much sleep, I carried in with the ward round and clinic. And minus breakfast went straight after my shortened clinic across to Sentul to attend my boys' school concert.

But first, I would need a quick bite. Luckily Puan Anita had some food waiting for me.
