Malaysian GP

Lately, the Formula 1 hadn't been catching my imagination. Maybe it was more to do with my age rather than anything else. I hardly knew the new faces, let alone learned about their driving styles. But this being the Malaysian Gp and all, I decided to take notice and was in front of the TV all afternoon explaining to Idlan what Formula 1 was all about. Of course we were sharing the macaroons while we were discussing it.

I also noticed that the stands were pretty empty compadre to the years gone past. Which is a worry as the GP used to be one of the crowning sporting event locally, at least when I was still in the UK. I was also perplexed with the fact that both the Malaysian Open Golf and the GP took place on the same weekend. Somebody may have messed up on the planning I thought ...... They didn't get the memo possibly.

The race turned out to be quite interesting, especially now in the closing few laps, I just saw teammates Vettel and Weber going at each other trying to snatch the lead. Imagine if there were contact between the two, one taking another out. The team meeting would be rather interesting ........

Printer Ahoy

After the scouting yesterday, I returned to Low Yat, this time to buy the network printer which I eyed yesterday. I needed somebody to drive the MPV as I would need help with the 32 kg printer. Anita actually finalised the purchased as I actually short-listed a couple of units. She preferred the Canon unit as it was fully wireless. No cable needed, well, at least that was what it was claimed.

Low Yat was really packed on the Sunday afternoon, complete with a long queue at the lift, and at the front drive where we load up the MPV. Off we went straight after to the apartment to deposit the printer on the desk of my study. Hard work, but hopefully it would be worth it ......

Spring Clean

Woke up this morning extra early, first to clean up my blog - well, some housekeeping stuff really - and then to do a bit of cleaning in the room. Anita had bought some boxes to put our stuff from the Cemerlang House which we plan to sell and transfer them to the apartment. At the moment, most of the items were still in transit, which basically meant being scattered around the house.

By the time I was ready to head out to the ward round, most of the stuffs were already organised. So, more cleaning later this afternoon .....

Deadly Cookies

This looked deadly. But Idlan absolutely loved these macaroons. It all started from him picking them off the ones I got as gifts from patients made by Pierre Ledent sold at BSC. Now, he just asked form one every time he came across them.

So, today, he actually called us when he found out that we were making our way to Isetan. So, half a dozen of these then ........ They were just too sweet for me.

Runway Foyer

There was certainly plenty of things going on at Pavilion today. The central foyer had been transformed into a runway, and this afternoon just batter we arrived, the place was packed with then crowd having a look at what was going on?

Will this give me wings?

Me, I was more excited with the F1 cars and merchandise on the stalls. And what was the business with this Red Bull mini?
