Pizza Sunday

It had been a long day. And it was a Sunday. After the call, I was flat last night in front of the TV. I watched the first half of City-Sunderland match, and was asleep at halftime. Bye bye football!

The next thing I remembered, it was 5 in the morning and I couldn't find my phone. Quick search at the TV room and luckily there were no calls from the hospital.

Ward round went smoothly, and then I attended a product lunch at Sunway Resort Hotel, followed by lunch. A quick dash back to Gombak to pick everyone up to spend the afternoon at the apartment, before going out for groceries at Bangsar Village.

So, finally, the apartment now looked more like a home, and it was time for dinner. Pizza Hut was as good as any.

Happy Earth Hour

After the call last night, I decided to take Puan Anita and the boys to KLCC to sample Earth Hour. The place was crowded and we ended up spending the time at a balcony of a restaurant overlooking the event.

Probably a better choice. And of course, the lights at the restaurant were out. Well mostly. We enjoyed our dinner by the candle light .....

This Is News

I couldn't resist it when my cousin put up a message on Facebook about this explosion on the toilet seat at the Rampai LRT station, injuring a 22-year-old. I just couldn't describe whether to feel sad, angry or laugh out loud. Such was the state of the social ill in the country. I'm sure it wouldn't be funny it it were to happen to you.

The Final Journey

While my Grandmother's jenazah was being prepared for burial, I took the opportunity to mingle around and catch the atmosphere through my camera.

Since I didn't want to appear too distracting, I used my iPhone instead and processed the captures into black and white for dramatic effect. The camera nearly ran out of juice as all together I took close to 150 snaps.

Now that I had the chance to look through the snaps, I decided to put in some narrative hole the memory was still fresh. I have therefore dedicated a whole page for the slideshow. I would put up choices of either to go through the pictures sequentially with some narration, or breeze through them randomly through a flash slideshow.

Budget for April

After Puan Anita left to pick the boys up from school, I hang around Bangsar Village and soon found myself at my favourite spot. The Starbucks outlet at Bangsar Village.

I only had a drink because I was still full, and set out doing my budgeting for April. As usual, I predicted that I would be broke within the next 10 days ......
