It Has Closed

So, the Patchi outlet at Pavilion has closed. I found that out yesterday when I was strolling around the mall. Wanted to restock but was surprised to see that the entrance had been closed off. Looks like a mattress retail shop would be here instead in the future.

After the 30% price hike at the turn of the year, I could see the place losing customers. After all, it was just chocolate. Although a gorgeous one at that. So, we were back to the outlet at BSC. Hopefully that one would still be opened.

A Night In

Finally done with my 3 calls in a week. Time to look forward to some rest and a spot of traveling.

The shift today ended longer than expected having to drive across town to Park City for a referral. By the time I was done, with the traffic jam and all, it was already late afternoon. Anita had been out with her friends to watch the movie all afternoon. I had the apartment to myself.

Done with some paperwork as well as going through some thesis to assess. Caught up with news - with the US threatening to go to war. Wrote this entry, and hopefully it would be time for bed soon ...

Sunday Wedding

It was more of a reunion of sort with Idlan's former classmates from kindergarten attending a wedding of one of his friend's brother. Being held at Dewan Perdana Felda, it was a place all of us were familiar with. And being a Sunday, I was actually able to make it on time .... Amazing!

Rough Week

It started last week when I admitted 3 patients with influenza B infection. Took all the usual precautions, but by the next morning, I started feeling pain in my muscles. That was too soon to start blaming the patients.

The the second day, I felt like closing clinic but I had to soldier on. My voice was also started going, but at least my colleagues were back on duty. I didn't have to cover them much longer. Saturday came and went. It was not until Sunday when I started to improve. And then it was time for another call on Monday.

It was towards the end of the week now and I was feeling back to myself. Another call on Friday before having some time off next week, heading to Kuala Terengganu for my cousin's wedding. And then the MSH Meeting in Johor Bharu after that. It is going to be an exciting fortnight ...

More Ammo

Anita’s friend, Saja had become somebody of a green fingers and over the previous few weeks had been encouraging Anita to do a bit more gardening.

Last weekend, she gave Anita some plants for our balcony. I expected more ammunition to come in the future ....
