Cuti Raya Last Day

So, it was a fruitful day. An outing in Genting where we did a lot of stuff. The boys didn't want to return home in the end and we concluded that one if these days we should open to spend a night or two there. We did Collar before but we felt that the place lost its novelty after a few hours. Maybe there was plenty more to do at Genting proper.

That plan would have to wait, but what struck us was how cool the weather was when we were up there. The place were covered with clouds when we drive down. The children brought down the screen trying to touch the clouds. We wished that there were more space to run around but Genting appeared over developed especially right at the top. Not much more space available to expand.

The boys spent the evening telling their grandparents what they did at Genting. Idlan of course telling them what he saw at Ripley's while Irfan kept harping on about the snow. I spent the evening doing post-production of the snaps taken up there but decided not to upload it until the internet connection improve.

First day back would be an on call day. Meaning I would be spending the evening at the apartment alone. Anita had plenty on her plates sorting out things at home and couldn't join me at the apartment. Well rested last night, I was already at my ParkCity clinic when I wrote this entry. Already there were patients to see when I reach Subang later.

Cuti Raya Day+4

Yes, a day late in entry after returning hone from my Mum's rather late. A nice dinner, plus badminton and football matches to boot - which United won but Chong Wei retired hurt by the way. The boys were running around all evening since their cousin were there. They had just returned from Melaka earlier in the day.

The day started off with just a relaxing morning at home. After lunch, Anita and I went over to Pavilion. From there, I went on to Low Yat. There, there was a plenty of promotion going on, the biggest one being the Xperia Ultra Z, a new phablet from Sony. A nice little HD unit with built in phone. More like the Samsung Galaxy Note. Packed with a great camera and a gorgeous screen, I really got quite interested. Since the crowd was smaller than I expect, I got plenty of hands on time on them. Responsive and fast. That was the impression I had.

Anita did some shopping as even Pavilion was rather empty. We then went to buy food for the dinner at Mum's - going all Arabic with dinner from Al Rawsha.

So, a full day it was mainly at my Mum's.

Cuti Raya Day+3

A mote laid back day today, and the morning was spent at home before heading out to Valencia as in the last entry. It was almost Asar when we left and we went straight to my Mum's place at Bukit Antarabangsa. The traffic in KL was still a breeze and travelling from Sungai Buloh to Ampang only took us around 20 minutes. I wanted to stop by Kepong, at a friend's house but he wasn't in.

After a couple of hours, we went to buy dinner for the boys at a mall nearby before settling in for the evening to watch football.

Barcelona was in town to play Harimau Muda. To be honest, I was expecting the Harimau to get mauled, but they put in a good showing instead. They even scored a great goal. Unfortunately, we didn't het to see Messi play. He was injured apparently. The condition of the training pitch was bad that the venue of the match was switched on the eleventh hour. Which created a bit of a ruckus.

More food after that, and not much else.

Bouncing in Valencia

For Saturday, we went to an open house at one of my work colleague. Initially Anita wasn't keen to go, until.she learned that it was in Valencia, Sungai Buloh. She had been eyeing the place for quite some time, but getting in was a problem since you have to know somebody living inside to be allowed in. Unless you went there to look for properties of course.

And Anita was not disappointed. The houses there were really nice. And really really expensive. The boys were really astounded by the place and wanted to move there.

My friend's house was located at one of the early phases of the area, and a lot greener and well developed. A really cosy place with a golf course running behind the house. A nice cool breeze with green surrounding, I could see myself retiring in this kind of locality. A far cry from the buzz of Bangsar.

The open house itself was fun with great food and good company. Idlan didn't have much sleep the night before, so he was on the grumpy side. But he soon lightened up, and coukdnt stop bouncing on the exercise ball at the back garden of the house.

On the way home, we took a detour around the place. The newer phases has a mote modern design, a bit more minimalist and since they were new, looked rather bare. But some of the designs were astounding. A quick look on the internet, the single storey bungalow was going for RM 4 mil as an asking price ..... Look elsewhere then .....

My excuse was the place was a bit far removed from the centre of town ..... But that did not convince Anita ...... Oh dear ....

Cuti Raya Day+2

The second was more subdued compared to the feast of yesterday. None the less, it was food, food and more food. We had a couple of visitors today, and we did go to visit some friends, but on the whole it was more of a relaxing day.

Come the evening, we went for a movie - more about that later. Irfan especially spent most of the day eating. Idlan was still up at 2 in the morning when I was penning this entry. He was still buzzing about the movie earlier.

Will blog later tomorrow and would also be posting more photos from Hari Raya, plus another open house tomorrow. Good Morning.
