School Begun

The havoc from this morning had subsided. Registration went smoothly, things were all organised, the boys met up with their buddies after the school holidays were over.

Look at the size of the bagsThe usual crying were there but mainly at the kindie - one of our friends just sent their daughter there this morning and has yet to let go. I stood chatting with some of the fathers while the children it themselves settle down.

Irfan settling into his classWeather was not as nice as yesterday. It was threatening to rain all morning. And the mood was made worse after learning about one of my patients not doing well at the hospital. My sifu was covering for me and I was sure I couldn't contribute much more.

I still got plenty of things to do and organise. It would have to start after breakfast...

Wake Up Boys!

Looks like they were both still in bed even though both of us had gone downstairs for breakfast. Couldn't tell what time they finally slept last night. Must be well after midnight.

Their breakfast had already been delivered. But it would take a whole longer before they touch them.

The breakfast was already waiting for themI might have a quick stroll around the hotel while they do just that.

Oh What Mess!

Busy call yesterday followed by ling clinic both at ParkCity and Subang. But I got more than I bargained for when I reached home. My room was a right mess. And my boys had been doing their school project and had taken over my computer and printer.

Taking shapeMore stapling and decoratingHow did my Luigi manage to get in there? All they had to do was download some photos from the internet, print it and glue them on a piece of paper. And it didn't take much for them to create a mess instead.

That's it! I need an early night!

Irfan's New Panel

I got my wish to get a weekend at the apartment - and it was increasingly likely that it would last until next weekend. So far, the boys had been creating havoc in their room. We decided to move the game console from Idlan's room to Irfan's since his room had less windows, as well as being bigger. Idlan's room would later become their study area since it had more light.

And we also bought a small LED panel for the console - I could't complain with RM1299 for a full HD LED 39 inches from Sharp. It was full HD we were talking about. Value for money. And for the evening they had been in front of the TV playing Skylanders.

Come to think of it, I was in need for another panel for my own room. It turned out that they had only the last unit for sale. That particular panel had been selling like hot cake.

Notice Board!

One of the things I picked up during my travel to Kyoto recently was a new notice board for Irfan. Remember that he liked to post up handwritten notices on the door when he was not impressed with something? Now, he has a proper board to write on.

It was written in colourful ink, and completely wipeable using a piece of wet cloth. Perfect! He has yet to put up any notice in anger so far. More entries from my Kyoto trip here.
