Monday Morning

So, it was a commute with a difference. The journey only took 15 minutes this morning as I travelled from the apartment. Relaxing drive. And bathed in glorious morning sunshine as well.

Off to Park City for the clinic there - patient turned up late - and hence waiting at the Lounge at the moment, enjoying a bit of morning television.

In shadesTime for breakfastI wonder what the boys were up to at home. They were still asleep when I left. Will be joining them for lunch...

Bright Start

The boys had already left for school and since it took only 15 minutes to drive to the hospital, I left late. And I had plenty of time to myself before leaving.

I took the time to enjoy my breakfast and check up on the news. And with the sun shining outside, I might just as well enjoy the morning. But the serenity didn't last long. Ward round, and then clinic to take me back to Thursday.

Oh well ...

Predictably Unpredictable

The weather in the last few weeks had been unpredictable - well, predictably unpredictable. It tended to be glorious sunshine in the morning, on the way to work. By the time you were done with the day, it would be pouring. And we were talking proper rain here - the ones with cats, dogs and other furry animals.

It looked like that would be the case again today. It certainly is nice and warm outside while I was in clinic ……

Sunshine Sunday

Woke up to such glorious sunshine, even though it was not such a smooth night, with both Idlan and Irfan coughing all evening. Idlan was still carrying a fever. At least it made waking up for sahur that bit easier.

Now that Astro is back, the boys were looking forward to Animal Mechanical and Imagination Movers at around noon. And as usual, Dad would join in. The fever is still there, but both of them had a hefty breakfast. Idlan was running around a bit earlier, which was good.

So, enjoying the sunshine at home while I can. Rather do that than joining the crowd doing Hari Raya shopping at Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman. The place would be packed, and the weather would be searing! Happy Sunday all!

Sunday Sunshine

I tried going out for a drive yesterday afternoon but it duly rained. I did get a bit of fresh air anyhow after the rain when Anita drove me to get some tandoori and pizza for the boys. She would be occupied with the boys this morning, and I had to pay my credit card bills. The plan was for me to have an early morning drive to Bukit Bintang, park myself there, pay the bills and have a quick walk, maybe until lunch time before settling back home, possibly for the day. It would all depend on my energy level.

The weather was certainly on my side - look at the gorgeous sun outside. I just wished that Anita could come along. I just couldn't pass up on such great weather!
