The pelamin

We arrived at my Auntie's just around lunch time. Everything was in full swing. The cleaning. The decorating. The cooking. And most importantly, the pelamin was being built.

They promised that it would be ready by the end of the day, and judging from the rate they were going, I wouldn't be surprised at all if they do. I was on Facebook uploading the preparation to the bride. She would only be back to Kota Bharu by tomorrow.

From the sound of things, she was getting anxious. But, rest assured, everything is under control. Well, sort off ..... *insert evil laugh*

Landed in KB

Landed in Kota Bharu and now being driven to an Auntie's place. What else but for food. Kelantan and food could never be separated. And we duly oblige.

The boys protested of course. They prefer to go straight to the hotel of course ....

Boarding Soon

All set. Now waiting to board the aircraft. The excitement in the boys were almost unbearable. They were jumping and shouting, while waiting for the clearance to board.

Weather is a lot better than it had been this morning. But the clouds were still low and heavy. Expecting a rough ride .... Will blog later from Kota Bharu!

In the train

The boys were excited. Mum and Dad were hungry. but once we for to Sentral, there were no hassle. There were hardly anyone there.

We were on the train now after checking in. Next stop, breakfast .....

Setting Off in the Jam

It has been raining all evening. Heavy downpour. The whole shbang, complete with flash floods and Smart Tunnel closing. So, it was not a surprise that the traffic flow was really bad around town this morning.

Our flight would be a few minutes before 11 this morning, and we planned to check in at KL Sentral Air Terminal and just take the train to the airport. My mother-in-law would be taking the road to Kota Bharu, and we just learned that the main route was closed due to a landslide.

She would have to take a longer detour, so it was just as well that we took the air route instead. It would be a long journey otherwise. It would be worst to morrow, with the start of the school term holidays .....
