A Nice Weekend

It was a nice weekend in the end. After sorting out my patients in the ward on Saturday, we went to watch a movie at nearby Gardens. Jack the Giant Slayer it was. The boys enjoyed it. Which was the most important thing since we had a couple of movies to catch up on between the two of us without the kids. That would be for later.

A nice dinner followed, and then back to the apartment to watch United outplayed Norwich. Kagawa scored a hat trick, which was great. Bring on Real next. I felt asleep soon after the match ended.

Saturday was a really hot day for swimmingBut Sunday session was cut short due to lightningAfter the morning rounds, we went back to Gombak as there were prospective buyers came to visit our Cemerlang House. That took an hour. Next came the boys swimming lesson. It was cut short however due to lightning. A quick stop at the apartment, and then we returned back to Gombak after a nice weekend at the apartment.

I would be taking an extended weekend next week, and we were planning to head to Port Dickson. Our apartment there needed some repairs, so we had to find another place to stay. I was sure Puan Anita would come up with the arrangements.

The Boys Are Here

An unexpected surprise. Puan Anita and the boys joined me today at the apartment during my call. It looked like we would be spending the weekend there. The first time at the new place for the troupe.

Dinner was pretty simple. Take out from Chicken Rice Shop. But soon after, I had to head back to the hospital for an evening rounds of admission.

Looking forward to the rest of the weekend.

Glorious Sunrise

On call today. And was called in last night. As the call came by around midnight, I decided against returning to Gombak and spent the night at the apartment instead. And I was treated with a glorious sunrise this morning straight into my bedroom.

Shame that I had to go to work early this morning. I would have loved to have a nice cup of coffee, enjoying the sumptuous morning. Well, I have to go earn a living .......

Cleaning Up

It the past week, Anita had been coming to the apartment almost everyday. She had been cleaning the place and getting ideas about doing the place up. And on days such as today, I would try to join her there, and have lunch with her.

Most of the cleaning were done, and now she had moved on to the next phase. Decorating. Now, that would be the expensive part. Anyhow, I have got the internet and cable TV sorted out. The bills were also done, and we were looking forward to spend some time here. So far, it was only me who had spent a night here, and as I would be on call again tomorrow, I would be spending time here again.

Let's Pack

We would be moving into the new apartment this weekend, and the lease for the current unit would lapse soon after. Even though we have yet o accumulate much in the apartment, packing took a bit of effort.

Anita started things rolling with getting some cardbox boxes a nearby hypermarket and we begin the packing this afternoon. I have yet to clear my room, but would start tomorrow afternoon after my morning round. Next would be getting the movers sorted out. They were booked for Friday. I would also need to get the satellite technician in to install internet and cable to the new apartment. That would have to wait until Wednesday since the technician were still on CNY holidays.

We were halfway done now, but the heavy lifting would be left to the professionals.
