It Will Rain

I managed to find some time to give my baby a wash, but as usual it would definitely rain later on in the day. In fact, the weather didn't look too clever even now.

Fingers crossed...

And It Finally Rained

It had been a really hot couple of days here. This morning was especially warm. Almost unbearable. I took my car for a wash before lunch and thought that the wax would stay on for at least a couple of weeks.

The lunchtime was still hot. Afternoon rounds came and went, after which I had a meeting until almost 7pm.

The car being cleaned earlier in the morningOn the way home, it started to pour. There was almost a flood at the exit of NPE towards Bangsar, and cars were in single file to avoid the water. The rain was really heavy.

There went the wax. But at least tonight would be cool ....

About Time

It must have been about a month since the car hit the wash. Finally, after the Sunday ward round, I had a chance to stop by a car wash near the hospital.

The last time I got it cleaned, it promptly rained soon after. All the polishing gone to waste.

It looked overcast again this afternoon .... Not promising ...

The First Day

A right shine!Being on leave has its perks but at the same time stretches the day making the day felt longer during Ramadhan. After a hearty sahur, we went back to sleep and only woke up way past 10 am. I then had to drive Puan Anita around, to the bank, then for grocery. And lastly of course Pasar Ramadhan. But I would keep the Pasar Ramadhan tales to another entry.

The traffic today was really bad especially driving back from Great Eastern Mall through Jalan Ampang. A good 45 minutes just to enter MRR2. Since returning from the Penang trip, we have yet to give the van a good cleaning. That was sorted out, wax and all at GE Mall. And ad usual, I overspent again at Cold Storage. My trolley seemed to be filled with nachos!

GE Mall has yet to get into the spirit of Ramadhan yet. There were hardly any deco up for the time being.
