Poor Boy on Ramadhan Evening

The plan to head to the mosque for Tarawikh had to be put on hold after Irfan felled high temperature tonight. He vomited his medicine and we had to tepid sponge him with some ice before the temperature finally came down. Had to stay with his as usually during fever he always wanted me around. And sure enough, he wanted me all along.

He is back now playing on his iPad and about to settle for the night. Temperature now settled but he had been coughing out some green muck since. We might have to put the plan to have the first berbuka at my Mum's house on the back burner as well. We don't want Julia's children to catch the bug as well. Let's see how he is tomorrow morning.

To A Different Clinic

I finally made it back to the apartment at around 3.30 am after sorting out the admissions. I was more like a zombie when I woke up this morning.

After sorting out the morning rounds, Anita told me that Irfan couldn't sleep properly last night because of his coughing. Time to take him to the Doctors.

Unfortunately, our family Doctor tended to take Sunday off, leaving his surgery manned by a couple of locums. And this afternoon, the clinic was jam-packed.

I have been waiting for close to an hour now. Irfan looked OK, although he was a bit bothered by not having his iPad around with him. But I guessed, everything would be OK when Daddy was around :)

Happy Birthday Irfan

Irfan is six today. How fast he had grown. 9th of February 2006. The date was picked by Anita since she had to go for Caesearian, some 20 months after she was operated for Idlan.

Anita was born on the 9th as well, hence the reason she picked the date. All went well and over the years, Irfan grew to be a cheeky little munkey! My little Munkey!

Happy Birthday Irfan. We'll have some cakes and toys later!

The Moll is in the House

On Deepavali morning, we received delivery of Irfan's new table. We paid for it during the weekend and we got the people from the shop to come over and install it for us. Irfan had been all excited since the weekend about the table. He picked the finish himself, even though we were keen for him to have a different unit.

The other unit would be for Idlan, but we had to wait for my next paycheck before I could pay for that one. Put it this way, it was not cheap. But from the build and also its attachment, it should last a very long time. A very sturdy table, and could be adjusted as the boys grow up.

Next month, it would be Idlan's turn. His unit would be wider, with a bigger drawer. He has not yet picked the finish. After that would be the chairs, followed by study lamps.

Practice makes Perfect

This Saturday would be the Sri Utama Musical for the year. Both Irfan and Idlan would be involved and again Irfan would be getting a prominent role right in the middle of the stage. From the looks of things, he was really looking forward for the big day, and have been practicing hard, including in the car. As of yesterday, he had lost his voice from shouting too much. Let's just hope that he would be OK on the day.

Similar to last year, the musical would be held in a hall in Sentul. They have had full rehearsal and I suspect the dress rehearsal would be tomorrow. Yup, my camera would be traveling with me on the day. So, come on boys! Let's have some!
