The Haze

The haze had definitely cause my eyes to itch. My throat also felt strange since I arrived at ParkCity. The stench was something else.

I then got a phone call from Anita. The dust particles had already entered our house and Idlan had been coughing. We had to restart him on Ventolin as a precaution. But, generally speaking the situation in Kelang Valley was getting worst. A quick glance out my apartment definitely looked worrying. I shudder with the thought of this was going to get worst before it started to settle.

Anita was asking if we would be better off staying at the apartment. I didn't think it would make much if a difference. The stench could be smelt even at the apartment. The only remedy at the moment would be to wear masks in the open, and to.make sure that I'm not dehydrated. My throat was definitely getting more irritated.

Sound of Music

The hotel we stayed was right on top of a hill and there were limited bus service coming down. One every hour I think, with the final trip from town leaving at 7 bearing in mind, sunset would be at 9.30.

Since I decided to leave late, I took the public bus down into town. It was actually a nice drive through the lush greenary. And there were plenty of people just chilling out in the sun. I was wondering what they were doing with their time. Or was it just part of their summer ritual. Everybody taking it easy.

I wished that I could just leave the bus and tumble on the green grass just outside the bus window. Listening to Sound of Music in the background of course.

Nice sunny weather, with cool breeze on tow. You can't beat that ......

Sun Not Coming Out

A quick look outside my window this morning summed up my mood perfect. Even the sun was reluctant to come out to play. How I wished that I could just lay there until the afternoon. But this being a post-call morning, I had to get going and sort out the admissions.

It soon started raining heavily. And that went on until I had my breakfast. Just arrived hone, and it looked gloomy outside. The plan was to visit KLCC to see an exhibition there, one which I planned to go to last weekend but couldn't make time. Hopefully I could find a couple of hours later in the afternoon to browse some book as well around there. I always browse for books when I was about to fly on a trip. Since I would be in Italy in a couple of weeks time, I might as well have a quick look for some travel tips.

Nice and Sunny

Shame that I would be on call tomorrow as if the weather for weekend had this morning as its mould than it would be a nice sunny weekend. I would imagine there would be some irate motorist as well since the school holidays would be coming to a close.

As for me, again this morning clinic was slower than usual although most of the scheduled patient turned up. No clinic after Friday prayers today. I therefore planned for a quick afternoon round before calling it the day. A quiet night before the on call tomorrow was on the card. And Anita had made sure that I wouldn't be running out of food as she had stocked up the apartment already this morning.

Which reminded me that I had to stop by the apartment later as there were some work being planned there this morning.

Dozing Off

After the whole week of bright sunshine, torrential rain hit KL just now. Luckily my slow morning extended to the afternoon. And even though things picked up before lunch, it sion quieten down again and I was able to leave the hospital just before 5.

Thus, I was able to avoid the rain and the suspected heavy traffic. But I got caught when I went to pick up my boys from their Qur'an class earlier. It was raining cats and dogs. And the rain did make me feel sleepy. In the sofa now, and I was sure I would be dozing off soon ....
