Nice and Sunny

Shame that I would be on call tomorrow as if the weather for weekend had this morning as its mould than it would be a nice sunny weekend. I would imagine there would be some irate motorist as well since the school holidays would be coming to a close.

As for me, again this morning clinic was slower than usual although most of the scheduled patient turned up. No clinic after Friday prayers today. I therefore planned for a quick afternoon round before calling it the day. A quiet night before the on call tomorrow was on the card. And Anita had made sure that I wouldn't be running out of food as she had stocked up the apartment already this morning.

Which reminded me that I had to stop by the apartment later as there were some work being planned there this morning.

Dozing Off

After the whole week of bright sunshine, torrential rain hit KL just now. Luckily my slow morning extended to the afternoon. And even though things picked up before lunch, it sion quieten down again and I was able to leave the hospital just before 5.

Thus, I was able to avoid the rain and the suspected heavy traffic. But I got caught when I went to pick up my boys from their Qur'an class earlier. It was raining cats and dogs. And the rain did make me feel sleepy. In the sofa now, and I was sure I would be dozing off soon ....

Slow Morning

It had been one of those boring and slow morning. I had finished seeing the patients in the ward and clinic - there may be a couple waiting to turn up. Had breakfast with a colleague, done my paperwork and old reports. And it was still 11 am.

Stopped at the Lounge and apparently a few of my colleagues had been having a slow morning as well. Even driving in was rather quite, having taken me less than 30 minutes to get from Gombak to Subang.

So, fiddling my thumb waiting for the clinic to close. Maybe I head to the apartment and see what needs sorting out. Have a good day ....

Bugging Out

Right after the afternoon round was done, I packed up in double quick time and left the hospital. Got home before 6. Anita was well. The boys were already settled in, with Irfan actually fallen asleep right after reaching home from school. He was still asleep when I arrived.

After shower, I went to my Mum's place to check on her. She was doing very well as well. Her appetite was back, and u just couldn't resist my Aunt's cooking. I stayed on for dinner.

It was just after Maghrib now, and after the meal, I was really sleepy. Better get back home then......

Post Call

With four admissions in the early hours, the call I did last night was much busier than I anticipated. I thought with the school holidays and all, the crowd would be less. I was actually looking forward for a bit of rest. Well, I guessed wrong.

So, after a dozen admission, and more work today sorting them out, I hope things would turn out OK. Anita had been doing well at home. The boys been behaving hopefully. Would be checking on my Mum later tonight after I reach home of course.

As for now, was just waiting for the clinic to finish before having a bit of a lunch. Would start my afternoon rounds a bit earlier today. Hopefully I could push off early later on. There was also the small.matter of cancelling this Friday clinic......
