Nifty Little Keyboard

I have been eyeing a Bluetooth keyboard for a while. I have one attached to my iPad and it had revolutionised the way I used it. It was a Logitech variety and for the past year, it had been working a treat.

While walking around earlier, I spotted this one, the k810 also from Logitech which allowed me to connect to 3 devices. So, got it hooked up for the Android tablet, the iPhone and maybe the S6 since I have a spare slot.

The keyboard itself was very well constructed, with very tactile keys and can be charged using a micro-USB interphase. No issues there. It is also illuminated, so I can type in the dark with no issues, something I couldn't do with my iPad folio keyboard.

Definitely would recommend it although it was a bit on the pricy side. It could also do well wth a dedicated case so that I could carry it around better. But as it is, it stays in my office and maybe I would get a stand for my tablet with a built in charger. That would be a great combination.

Lorong Seratus Tahun

In the middle of discovery - or rediscovering The Mall, or now called Sunway Putra Mall - we found out that the old eatery on the top floor was preserved. It used to be one of my favourite eatery and it was themed around the A Famosa. Food was good and reasonably priced. A nice place to meet up with friends.

The place is now different and not all of the cafes were opened yet. The one we tried was surprisingly good however. It was a Penang Peranakan cafe called Lorong Seratus Tahun.

I had the asam laksa and Anita had some curry mee. I must say that the asam laksa was superb. Almost authentic Penang.

Definitely worth another try in the future should we landed at the mall again ...

Congested

It looked like business was picking up at our MediPlex building next door. The drawback to that was the number of advertisement and bunting to entice us timers as they enter the carpark.

It looked that it was getting rather out of hand. The lift lobby looked congested with all those signs. We are slowly turning into a shopping centre at this rate...

Lounging

I now come over to Park City twice a month, much less than I used to do. Listening to the announcement that many of the main roads into the city would be closed for the Merdeka celebrations, I was worried about the traffic since this morning would be my drive across town to Park City.

Started my rounds really early, and managed to have breakfast before starting my drive. But it turned out that the traffic was light, and I only have one patient coming into clinic. And she would only be in by 11. Sounds like a morning at the lounge waiting.

Might just drop by at the apartment for lunch since one of our friend is having a check-up at the hospital right next door today.

The Haze is Back

We had managed to avoid the dreaded haze for the past year. But during the time, we had to cope with some really dry weather, not to mention the water shortage and all.

But now, the haze was back. The smell, although not overpowering was definitely back. This surely would put a downer to the proceeding this weekend with the Merdeka celebration as well as the planned Bersih march.

A clear morning ...This was from last ThursdayHopefully rain would come soon and wash away the haze before my kids started coughing ....
