About Done

I was done with the four calls for the months and the next time I would be on call would be in the middle of January. Really looking forward to some time for myself with the family, plus a mini holiday to boot.

I would be off tomorrow as well to pick things up on the sleeping front because in the last couple of weeks, I had hardly been having enough sleep. I needed the rest.

So, off for the afternoon rounds and a narrow to do before the end of the day.

Lost Week

Unbelievable. The last time I blogged was on Monday. That was four days ago. What had happened in the last four days?

We settled at the apartment. I had a busy call. Had to catch on some sleep. And making preparations as my Mum and Sister coming to stay with us at the apartment this weekend. The week just passed by like a blur.

Then my colleague would be on leave during Xmas. Looking forward to another busy couple of week, following which we plan to go for a short break. And I would be taking a few days of for rest and chill.

Now, back to the ward round...

Monday Morning

So, it was a commute with a difference. The journey only took 15 minutes this morning as I travelled from the apartment. Relaxing drive. And bathed in glorious morning sunshine as well.

Off to Park City for the clinic there - patient turned up late - and hence waiting at the Lounge at the moment, enjoying a bit of morning television.

In shadesTime for breakfastI wonder what the boys were up to at home. They were still asleep when I left. Will be joining them for lunch...

Kenduri at Colleague's

It was great to see plenty of my colleagues turning up to attend a wedding hosted by another colleague who is on a long leave due to an assault.

She appeared to be in great spirits welcoming us all, who took an unceremonious route as a short cut from the hospital, through people's backyards.

I also bumped into an old housemate from Cornfield, meeting his year and a half-year-old son for the first time. Not to mention a familiar face behind the cameras on official duty for the occasion.

And food was great as well, with satay and some nice ais kacang on the side. We left before the crowd - and clouds - descended....

Day Off

So, I have a day off today. My last day off - Sunday was a non-event with Idlan's fever, I could do with a day out with the boys. God knows how many day they had been cooked in the house.

The nice thing was, only Selangor was off today - it was the Sultan's birthday - and I was hoping that the malls in KL would be empty. I wouldn't mind visiting Pavilion today for a quick lunch.

But first, better start the ward round. Post call as well.
